I've purchased a total of four over the years. I mounted them to the walls surrounding my pool and use them to tie off solar sails (for relief from the hot sun). I like that they collapse.

Replaced some old plastic boat cleats with some hide away stainless steel cleats and wow what a difference. Makes the boat look more sharp and its great to not stub your toe on the cleat. I have had them on the boat for a while with 0 issues
