This weight is one big boy! It is alot fatter than the normal rubber plates I'm use to in gyms, but it still gets the job done. I used this on a bar and fit great. I've done single plate workouts with it and worked Okay for me, but I have really big hands, and if you have smaller hands it will be hard to grip this plate for you. I typically wear XL gloves for anything as a reference to my hand size. But the overall build of the plate is very reliable and nice.

This weight plate is well designed and made. Soft feel. Seems about twice the size of a metal plate of same weight. Works well. I would recommend this product.

A heavy weight plate that can “bounce”? Well, yes, actually. But not like bouncy like a ball. It just has a little resiliency to it so that if it hits the floor harder than you expected, it won’t just land with a big heavy crash. Which might be possible because I got the heaviest 45-pound version! I’m using this weight tied onto a gym double-cable system that I rigged up with a couple of handles and/or a lat bar on the other end. I just needed something heavy to lift!The center hole in the plate has a 2” diameter steel ring in it so I can pass my cable system through it. If I had two of these plates (maybe the 25-pounders), I could put them on the ends of a barbell for lifting. Maybe someday…. Anyway, this plate is a pretty cool concept. They have seriously compacted some dense recycled colored rubber into a plate shape and magically, it all holds itself together as if it’s a solid plate. Nice eco-conscious product!

It's a plate, so there's not too much to review. It's much thicker than my other 45s, which limits its usefulness on cable machines, but otherwise it is fine.

The black raised letters look good and the center steel ring is centered and installed perfectly. This is a large rubber chip design and quality is as expected and for about a hundred bucks for a 45lb plate I'm going to be a bit picky and mention that the adhesive for the raised letters does show slightly around them but can be washed off with a light duty nylon brush. There's absolutely no rubber smell and color and rubber chip size is consistent. Very good mid grade plate that's priced within reason.

Getting only one of these actually suits me just fine, as I mostly use standard (1-inch) plates, but have a couple of devices that take Olympic (2-inch) plates. I will use this on those. I like how thin this plate is, since I have limited sleeve space on those devices. I will also use this for weighted situps and for some grip work and agility training. It bounces nice and true, so lends itself to bouncing and gripping.This plate is really beautiful, in my opininon. The recycled crumb rubber feels great in the hand, and the multicolor just looks awesome. You have to see it in person to really appreciate it, but the photos on Amazon, if you zoom in, do it some justice. The overall fit and finish is great on this. It fits smoothly and snugly on the sleeves I have, so the specs are spot on, I think. The only question I would have is whether or not the recycled crumb rubber will hold together over the long term given hard use on barbells.

I was not expecting this to be SO ENORMOUS. It weighs ten pounds, as advertised, but the weight is centered around the hole and the other 6 inches of material is just unnecessary rubber. Not great for my tib bar, but I’m using it anyway.
