These are great for the price and however they are for light trash, 1000 bags for less than $30 not even $0.05 Cents each bag, so I have bags for near 3 years I use these bags to storage clothes or cover items from dust, I also place a thick trash bag in the trash can and then I place one of these bags and remove it daily, the size is as described 33" inches long and they fit a tall trash can but again not for heavy duty, if you want to dump waste of food or heavy garbage you may buy bags for industrial or commercial use but those will cost you $60.00 these bags are like the ones you use for trash cans in offices but thin, if you want heavy duty bags you can buy HEFTY, GLAD or the BLACK BAGS SPECIALLY FOR HEAVY TRASH
