I have been listening to this DAC for the last four weeks. It’s replaced my Denafrips Pontus II DAC without missing too much. This AD1865 based DAC is a wonderful sounding DAC! It provides a nice, wide and deep soundstage with tonal accuracy, and that magical tube sound, especially with vocals! This is the type of DAC that you can listen to for hours without ear fatigue. Yet I prefer the bass from this DAC compared to the Pontus II by just a slight margin. This is not the most resolving and detailed DAC, but it’s more musical and tonally accurate than most DACs in this price range. For the price, this is a highly enjoyable and high quality DAC. It would certainly mate well with a solid state or class-D amp.
