This was purchased for my husband to use when he is washing the cars and the house. He says it works well and it’s easy to use. He said this does the job when he doesn’t feel like dragging out the power washer.

My first impression of this product on unpacking is that it is incredibly lightweight - and not in a good way. Despite its physical appearance, it appears to be constructed entirely out of plastic (the long barrel being the possible exception). Even the nozzle appears to be just a reflective-coated plastic. (Mine also didn’t come with the 1/2” connector mentioned in the Product Description, but that didn’t matter to me since I don’t need one. ) I feel like I have to handle this sprayer with kid-gloves, because it’s one moderate-height drop away from getting cracked and becoming useless. I could overlook this, if it were actually good at what it is supposed to do - but it isn’t.The Product Description claims of “put the detergent in the bottle, and will be perfectly combined with water” can’t be farther from the truth. I had assumed that this item would work similar to how a classic hose-end garden sprayer works: you put a carefully mixed concentration of the solution to be distributed into the canister, and the pressure of water flowing through the hose creates a suction to pull the liquid concentrate out of the canister and into the water stream (the Venturi effect) resulting in an accurately mixed final spray until the canister is emptied. The first tip-off that this is not how this product works was that there was no mention of mix ratios in the included instructions.I followed the assembly and loading instructions as written, and proceeded to start washing my car. What I found when the unit was switched to a soap setting was that it routed water INTO the canister to mix and flush the contents back out and into the water stream. What this means is that a) the concentration of soap after the initial “loading” is extremely high, and then tapers off the longer you continue to use the soap setting, b) since the canister never empties, there’s no indication of when its time to “reload” (other than the fact that you get fewer bubbles over time). I found that with soap setting 1 the nozzle tended to only gurgle and not spray effectively at all, and at setting 2 it distributed an overly concentrated mix of soapy water for about 5-10 seconds of spraying, and then tapered off down to ratios that I would consider to be “not really enough soap” rapidly. And even for that 5-10 seconds on a freshly filled canister: I wouldn’t call what comes out “foam”, exactly (but is not far from what is show in the Product Description photos). In the end, I would say I used easily 5x the amount of car wash concentrate washing my car with this sprayer than I normally would have.Twisting the nozzle head did not always produce the desired spray or stream setting; not sure why, but sometimes it took a few turns in the wrong direction and then coming back for the spray pattern to be “right”. The “buckle lock” fell into the locked position several times too, which also resulted in wasted soap when releasing the handle didn’t stop the spray.I had high hopes for this sprayer, but it failed to deliver. Between its fragile construction and poor soap distribution capabilities, it barely warrants 2 stars.

I am using this to wash my car. The power sprayer is powerful enough to clean bumpers and wheels which I do like. The soap container is easy to fill, but I wish it were just a bit bigger. Adjusting amount to mix is as simple as a turn knob. One thing I did notice is that after a few minutes of spraying, water was backfilling into the soap container, diluting the contents. Since the container doesn't hold much soap/concentrate, this wasn't that big of a deal as to soap down the entire vehicle it takes about 2-3 containers.Overall, not a bad sprayer. At this price point, would recommend.

I don't have a pressure washer -- just a normal hose. I wash my cars quite a bit and have never owned a washing sprayer that dispenses soap like this. This one is perfect for a simple hose hookup. It has pretty much all the features I would want for driveway car washing without a pressure washer.WHAT I LIKE:* Good value -- inexpensive for all the nice features* Adjustable spray pattern using the end of the nozzle* Adjustable lock so you can adjust how much force you get when you use the lock* Can be used with or without the soap bottle attached* Comes with all necessary gaskets for hookups -- plus a few spares for when originals wear out* Adjustable soap mixing -- 3 levels of soap mix plus a total soap bypass (water only for pre-wash rinse or final rinse)* No leaks at all while using -- all the connections fit well and seal well with the gaskets* You can remove and refill the soap bottle without disconnecting hoseSUMMARY:A great option for home car washes without having to invest in a pressure washer.
