Let me tell you I normally don't write reviews but this shower head deserves it. If you want a cost effective option that looks amazing and shoots out water like nobody's business then this is for you. Just get it you will not be disappointed.

I was very skeptical when I opened the package, and was about to return the item, however, decided to give it a try. And I am very glad I did. The shower head is amazing!! The water flow is terrific and I am very happy with the purchase. In fact, I am buying another one!

ok, so i've lived in this apartment for about 7 years now, and the shower is one of my least favorite places, because of the crummy water pressure, got an extender arm, and a rain type shower head that allowed my 6ft plus frame under, but have always been underwhelmed to dissapointment withe the water pressure, i've checked to make sure there were no restrictors on either the extender arm or the shower head i've been using, but no joy. so now it's years later, and the extender arm/shower head is leaking, so figured i'd go looking for another one, you know, just for kicks. got a longer extender, and this shower head/shower arm combo, hooked it all up, and i'm amazed at how great, not good, how fantasic the water pressure is now. saw a couple naysayers, saw the fakespot grade, figured i'm so pleased i owed it to the next person thinking of trying this out, it's worth the try, at least it was for me. excellent shower head. great water pressure.

With the water restricters it makes the water pulsate and makes a odd noise on my shower

Suffice to say when I switched the water up to this shower head, I was all smiles when it started hitting me. I was NOT expecting the flow out of it that I got. I've had a couple other shower heads on my shower pipe, and one might have had close to this much flow, but it was more concentrated, more close together, while this one spreads it out more, like the "rain" moniker indicates. But it was heavenly. My drain could barely keep up. However, living in the desert, I elected to try out both of the flow restricters to cut back a bit, but I wasn't pleased with the results.I wish the literature that accompanied the shower head said which restricter was which. To be fair, the instructions do give a flow rate spec for each, but I wasn't sure whether the spec was actual flow rate or the amount restricted. It turns out the yellow one is the more restrictive of the two, and the red less. If you look really closely at them, you can see that the red one's holes are ever so slightly larger than the yellow ones. However, I wasn't happy with either one. They were both a dramatic reduction of flow compared to no restricter. I wish they had included a third one that was less restrictive than the red one, because I would prefer a flow between no restriction and the red one.I have used a rain type shower head for almost 20 years and love them, but my old one was getting corroded and clogged, so it was time to try a new one. I'm so glad I did. This shower head looks classy too. I connected it to an adjustable extension pipe I had from a previous shower head and did not use the included connection pipe. I prefer the rain feel to come from directly above me, and you need an extension to do that. I recommend the manufacturer include one of those instead of the wall pipe. Regardless, for me it's a nice shower head without any restricter, but it's going to use a lot of water. For that reason and the overly restrictive flow options, and the fact that instead of an extension pipe, you get a pipe that most showers already have protruding from the wall, I'm giving it 4 stars. If those issues were resolved, it would easily get 5.UPDATE: After using this shower head for a couple weeks, I've decided that while the feel and pressure are superb, the pattern is a little narrow for me. I'm not a huge guy either. In fact, I'm skinny. But the head is 6" in diameter and it just doesn't cover enough of my body for my liking. It may be just great for you, but I prefer a little larger head with a wider flow of water. I tried a 12", and the coverage was fabulous, but the pressure was insufficient. So I had to go in between. For my preferences, an 8" head is perfect.
