I've had this for a couple of months now and can say it is a great product. many pockets and spaces to put things and keep them organized. I fill it with a box of tissues, hand wipes, a small flashlight, small bags of nuts, and water bottle or cup. nothing tips out! it also has narrow pockets better suited to paper items where I stuff all my receipts and in one of the larger have maps from local park trails.I previously had an organizer that sat on the seat with a strap around the seat to hold it in place. It was prone to tipping forward and was a nuisance to remove when I had a passenger. In contrast, this lovely product can just be swung around to the back of the seat meaning also super easy to swing it back around later.Very happy with this purchase.

Five years and counting with this automotive garbage guardian, and it's still holding strong despite my children's apparent mission to test the laws of physics with it. You know how kids think "full" is just a suggestion? This trash can agrees. The StashAway has bravely contained everything from sticky lollipop wrappers to mysterious "art projects" that definitely weren't trash (until they absolutely were). Its lid has heroically prevented many potential archaeological discoveries from forming under the seats. What impresses me most is that despite being stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey on a regular basis, it hasn't surrendered to the chaos. The seams haven't split, the lid still closes, and it continues to be the unsung hero of our road trips. If this trash can were a person, it would deserve a medal for valor in the face of my children's war on proper waste disposal. Highly recommend for parents whose kids think "capacity" is just a fun challenge

Strong and compact, while fitting alot of rubbish in. Love the top access, allowing easy discarding of rubbish while on the road. We use a small biodegradable rubbish bag inside it, which makes it super easy to empty.

This is the perfect car trash can for daily or long road trips. Ruggedly built and easy to use. No issues after some major use on a long 10 day trip with several days off roading. Easy to dump and it stays securely behind a head rest or the center console.

I love this trash can so much! It helps to keep my car near and not have trash in areas. I work a lot, so sometimes it's easier to get something to eat on the way somewhere and eat in my car. It's not super big, but it works great. It's also nice that it attached to the car itself. (There are 2 places to attach it) I use mine on the center console as it's easier to throw stuff away while driving. I highly recommend this. I have a bag in mine for an easier ability to throw stuff away, but the inside of the trash can is coated that you could clean it, if you need to. I don't really use the pockets on the side, but it's a good option/idea for people who don't have as much storage space like on back of seat pockets like I do. I've been using this for quite a a few months now.

Not really sure why there are two straps to this, one thin rope and one buckle strap. I just use the buckle around my passenger headrest.I usually have it facing forward as I don't have passengers often, but when I do, I simply loosen the strap and swing it back. I don't have to unbuckle or detach anything, which is great! The inner liner is nice and easy to clean. But I think it may be slightly too big. By that, I mean, it crumples up a bit inside and out feels like it's taking up a bit of space. So when you start to put in garbage inside, it feels like it's filling up fast, even though there's not much in there. I'm constantly opening up the lid and pushing everything down harder. Not a big deal though. The rubber top opening is nice. It's not very firm and also not the softest, which is perfect. I had worries that it would hurt my fingers if it was too firm, especially if it was during colder temperatures, but it's not.I love how there are side pockets too! I didn't think I'd ever use this. But now I stuff out with napkins and whatnot. The only con to this, if anyone wants to put a garbage bag in this, it's not that great. I personally don't do that as I just take it out of my car and dunno the whole thing in the trash and clean the inside without wasting more plastic bags. But, if you want to use a plastic bag, it'll take up a bit more space (unless you have small ones) and out won't be a great fit. The way the flap is attached, the bag won't stay on great. There's also no hooks out attachment points for a garbage bag, so when stuffing this it may fall in over time. I don't think it's great for using bags, but without them, it's perfectly fine!

I drive a Peugeot 207 and it’s a little disappointing that I can’t set up the bin in the centre of the backseat but otherwise it’s a brilliant product. It’s easy to clean, sturdy and good quality.

I have it four stars. Even though its a great product, it did not work on the back of the inner console for my crossover. I think it would work great in a regular size SUV, which I do not have. I had trouble setting it up, and fell over. But, I'm using it for what I truly needed and I am satisfied. It fits on the back of the seat. Now, there is a place to toss stuff. If I out it in the back of the passenger seat, I can put my trash in it, so I am using it and enjoying it. Yes, it's easy to clean. I gave it 5 stars on foot room, because it's not on the floor at a. It's really nice looking and does not take away from the look of my car. I like it.

The product looks quite good in my vehicle, which has a black interior. I would describe the color of the bag as black. The construction of the bag itself seems sturdy and well-done.The plastic supports slip into snug sleeves beneath the side handles. This is to give the bag a little bit of shape. This works, but the supports seem like they would be easy to break. They have to be bent just ever so slightly to fit them into the sleeves, so take your time doing this to avoid snapping them. The cord that straps to the center console seems good enough, but the push-button cord release mechanism is poor. It does not hold the cord in place, so I just made a simple knot. This solution is good in that the bag is now secure, but it is also annoying in that I have to untie the knot in order to empty or clean the bag. I may look for some other solution. The liner isn't removable, which surprised me a little. This means that the bag will have to be cleaned in the car, or the whole thing will have to be removed in order to clean it. This is simple to do, but it's an extra couple of steps that will have to be repeated over and over. My old bag was free standing, and I got used to how easy it was to just grab it and dump it into trash cans at service stations. That won't be nearly as easy to do with this bag.

I drive kids all over, including long Boy Scout trips. Car trash can be a real drag, as kids will drop wrappers (with leftover candy), kick bottles under the seats, and otherwise leave a mess. At the same time, whose car really has room for a garbage can? The seat-back ones are just in-your-face and ugly if you actually have adults in the back seat. This little can works really well. It's small enough and located well enough to be out of the way and look nice and professional even when you have colleagues or adults in your back seat, and functional even with a kid in the middle seat. Its attachment mechanism is simple but works quite well. The slotted deposit hole is a little bit awkward reaching back into from the driver's seat since it takes a bit of a "push" to shove things in, but is still functional and totally beats the usual routine of shoving things in the console until you can throw them out.The inner bag is quite heavy-duty and waterproof, so it's usable without liner bags and cleans up easily even if you get a gooey mess (though if gooey messes are your life the 2-gallon liner bags are a good addition). I use the side pockets to hold phone charging cables for back seat passengers that are plugged into the USB connectors behind the bin.
