The product worked fine, however, they failed to include the rack rails which were supposed to be included in the purchase. The item contained a contact email to have the company fix any problem first and when contacted they said they would, however, ultimately they never sent the rack rails which will now cost me $150 more dollars. I will not purchase from this company again.

Yes, you read that right. Like a putz, I let it sit for a year before unboxing it. Looked to brand new to me. Came with exactly what it should have. Fired right up. Has 6x2 TB SaS disks in it as advertised.Do have a problem though. Disk backplane has a bad slot so I'll have to replace that but not a big deal to me and nothing to complain about.Can hardly WAIT to get this guy into service as it's WAY quieter than the server I have right now. :-D

Excellent seller. Ordered a server with 12TB of storage, ended up with a server with 18TB! What a bonus! Server was clean and in excellent working condition.

The description of the product I bought clearly says that is comes with 6x2TB drives. The one I received came with 4x3TB drives. One would think this is no big deal as they both add up to 12TB of storage, however, it completely destroys the RAID and partitioning scheme I had intended for this server, rendering it essentially useless for the purpose for which I bought it for. By the time I go out and buy 6x2TB drives like I wanted, with the money I spent I could have bought a server with newer hardware.--edit to correct the size of the drives installed.Also, it gets better, this "No Operating System" actually has Windows 2012 R2 on it, which makes trying to install Linux on it a PITA because "The disk contains an unclean file system"

I purchased this in March 2018 to start my home lab setup. Shipping was fast and I had no problems with it. I got it setup with ESXI no problem and was excited. A few weeks in I did lose a fan and had to replace that, then the internal battery a few weeks after that. Sadly now about 5 months down the road one of the CPU's seems to have failed. I realize this is a refurbished server so I will have to just buy another one and replace the one that failed as it's no longer under warranty. But I am a bit disappointed.

I've been running this server through the wringer for about 2 weeks now. I'm a very happy camper. The server was immaculate, inside and out. Everything works perfectly.I'm even happier how I was treated as a customer than the I am the server. TechMikeNY brings back true customer service. Not only is the server immaculate and functioning perfectly, they upgraded the memory and hard drives on their own volition and simply as a "thank you for the purchase". In addition, the server came with some free gifts (rather nice gifts) as an additional thank you. They have followed up and made sure that I am happy with the purchase. This is what customer value is all about.I'll be visiting TechMikeNY for all my computer and accessory needs going forward. I'd advise you check them out as well.

Totally happy. First server I have ever bought and was a little skeptical due to the fact it was refurbished and older. I converted it into a Raid 10. The raid controller was easy to set up. I installed Esxi on it. Runs like a champ. I opened it up and everything was as promised. Totally happy. I have run it for 10 days straight and no problem. There is a few scratches on the bottom of the case, but other than that it actually looked brand new. Everything inside was clean.I am running vm servers on it and I haven't kicked the fans into high. When you first boot up that fans go full RPM and its kind of loud. Normal operations for me so far is quite. and of course it does put out some heat.
