I only ride bareback, My horse is 16.1 hands and has medium to narrow withers. This works like a dream, Like riding a couch ! My horse is pretty big, but I had to get a small english girth (32inch) to fit comfortably. HIGHLY recommend!

I cannot believe I ended up with this pink pad for my 15.3hh gelding but so glad I did. researched many but didn't want to buy anything expensive until I determined if I would really want to ride out of a saddle. This is the most comfortable thing I have sat in and my horse I believe loves it. You will need to get a dressage girth to go with it. The only thing I'm not sure of is that is fits tight around his withers. I do put a light pad under it until it breaks in a little. I am not sure it even bothers him and more my imagination. I just love everything about it. I bought the pink as it was cheaper ;)

I liked the snug fit on my horse. Using a dressage girth keeps it nice and snug. No slipping. Very comfortable as well.
