This is a very good price for a 2 channel solid state really.... really not much more than a decent mechanical relay. This is mounted on a board and has a removable tigger harness. It is very easy to wire. The chip itself is potted, which is good for thermal control but obscures verification of the 25A rating. Seems high, but it can accommodate #10 wire and has a brass connection pad (on one side, clamp itself is steel), so it's possible. I have tested this with a 10A load with no issues. This relay has two discrete channels, so it's like a DPDT with independent triggers... really like two relays in one. The optical circuitry also doubles as a status light.

This is a solid-state relay perfect for implementing into any project. The relay itself is potted, with two LEDs, one for each channel. A four-conductor input terminal is separate, allowing the connection of low voltage (3-32 VDC) control wires before connecting to the relay (and allowing for quick replacements if required). Each of the two pairs of control wires actuate one relay circuit, and each relay circuit can switch from 24-480 VAC at up to 25 amps. The load terminals are screw terminals and can take standard 14, 12 or 10 gauge solid core wire. When contact one is actuated, the red LED lights up, and contact two lights up the green LED, so you can see which terminals are energized just by looking at it - a nice touch.Operating it with two 10 amp loads at 120VAC, the relay got very slightly warm, but that was it.Who is this for?- People needing to have reliable control of high-current circuitryPros:- Potted and solid state, so safe for explosive gas enviroments- Instant switching- Very high current handling with minimal heatingCons:- Input terminal is somewhat fragile
