These are neither stainless steel or alloy steel they are zinc plated carbon steel. To be clear they are probably perfectly fine if you are looking for indoor use but the description (currently) list them as both alloy and stainless steel which isn't how they refer to steel in fasteners. Alloy steel for fasteners doesn't refer to carbon steel or stainless steel even though they are actually alloys as all steel is an alloy, for fasteners there is a short but specific group of elements included.
