I'm not a huge fan of these halters but I must always choose wisely because comfort is a definitive factor when it comes to putting anything on my horse. I thought that I'd give this one a try and so I did. I ordered a size large. After trying this one on my draft, she was very comfortable in it. I like that the starps are adjustable and the nylon isn't scratchy on her. She seemed to react the same way that she would have in her mule tape haltera and she loves those. I love the pink color on her. Since she is black, it brings her color out. It is nice and durable and it doesn't break easily at all. My girl was able to wear it for an entire day with no issues. The large fits my draft horse perfectly and it's very comfortable and I would definitely recommend this halter.

I can't remember what size I ordered, full or extra full. The picture is of an average size horse that wears average size halter.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Most affordable padded halter have cheap materials that don't hold up. This one is an exception.This is a nice halter that will be nice anytime the halter will be worn for long periods. All in all, a good product.

This halter is awesome. Its well made, heavy duty, good quality and ticks all the boxes. I really appreciate that across the bridge of the nose, there is this extra layer of padding added. Its easy on, easy off and instead of having to undo buckles to remove it quickly, there is a clip that can be used instead. Absolutely recommend these halters. 10/10.

This padded halter is a hit with my horse who approves of the fit. I think it looks great on her! She is a 15 1/2 hands Rocky Mountain horse. She is wearing the cob size. I've never bought anything cob size for her in the past, but this new halter is nearly the same measurements as her old full/horse size halter. I trusted the size chart and ordered accordingly. It even works for my long-faced Tennessee Walking Horse, though a longer cheek piece would be better for her. I am happy with the quality of the straps and the hardware. They are nothing fancy, just medium weight webbing and some type of metal alloy, but they work. It is too soon to tell if the metal will rust, but I don't think so. As others have noted, it is NOT a breakaway halter. My horses only wear their halters when I am working with them so this is fine for us. I did get a good chuckle out of the picture of the donkey labelled "Andalusian" in the listing :).

Overall, this is a nice halter! It seems to be well made and durable. It's easy to adjust and the buckles and materials are good quality. It appears to be comfortable and is lightly padded too! I love the colors. It's bright and fun, and more unique than just the normal plain colors. It works well and does its job. My only minor complaint is that it is sized a bit large. I have it on my pretty average sized quarter horse, he's definitely not small, and I have to have it adjusted almost to the smallest option. That's fine, but then it caused there to be a lot of extra material flopping around his nose, which i don't love. If the sizing was a little bit better, this would be perfect!

Fits my donkeys perfectly! Love that the halter is adjustable and the color is beautiful. The crown piece is padded for comfort and the whole thing is made of quality materials. This is a blue version for donkey no. 2, donkey no. 1 had the pink version of this.

I got two of these – the purple and black in the Full size and the pink/yellow/white in Pony size. This review coves both of them.Pros: Pretty, solidly made halter with adjustable noseband and crown piece for customized fit. Padding on the nose and crown reduce rubbing, especially for horses with thinner hair or more sensitive skin. The padding is synthetic and does not absorb or retain water. The pink/yellow color has white padding, which looks nice but will probably be hard to keep clean. The hardware on the purple/black color is a dark grey, rather than the usual silver or brass, which is a nice style touch but might be hard to coordinate.Cons: My main issue with this halter is that it is not breakaway. However, if you’re willing to scissor off one small nylon piece (indicated with an arrow in one of my photos) you can replace it with a leather piece so the halter becomes a breakaway. You can find these leather pieces by searching for ‘halter breakaway replacement strap’. Other cons I noticed are the stitching is a bit messy in places, especially the horizontal reinforcements where two pieces connect, and there are some loose nylon fibers around the grommets on the noseband and crownpiece. The latter is likely cosmetic only, but the former may impact long term durability.Overall: Good quality halter, although it’s long term durability remains to be seen. NOT breakaway, so do not turn horse out or leave unsupervised while wearing. However, could modify to become breakaway fairly easily. Both Full and Pony seemed true to size.
