Luna loves her bird whether it is on and vibrating or off and just there. The bird is a good size but easy for her to carry and attack at four pounds. Since she's so young this has helped us divert her attention. The ball quickly charges and will last for a while. The music is cute, and she doesn't mind it as long as she can jump on it and attack.

I ordered this cute cardinal shaped bouncing toy for my puppy as she loves these types of toys. The cover is very plush and the extremities of the bird are sewn to the the body. The interior ball has a USB C charging port and a power button. The included USB C cable and remote control and instructions are all useful items. The ball seems quite sturdy and is of firm plastic construction, the cable although short, charges the unit with no issues, the power button is simply a press and hold to turn on/off type of mechanism. The included remote can power the unit off, switch between modes, and start the toy up again if your pup ceases to interact with it. To restart the bird just click the button of whatever mode you would like it to start in.Overall, this is a very fun toy for my puppy, it looks cute, and the USB C port means I can easily charge this anywhere. The remote control has a ton of modes and features and it plays for a decent amount of time before stopping/needing to be interacted with. The instructions aren't super clear, but I find just pressing through buttons allowed me to figure out how to use it. I would recommend it to others!

Abby is a Feist Terrier, a very active dog. A year or two ago, I got her an 'animated' ball to play with. It's about 3" round with a hard rubber shell, just small enough for her to pick it up and carry it around. When activated, it has colored LED's that flash, and it bounces and spins and wanders around the house, diligently chased by Abby, constantly barking at it. It's one of her favorite toys. We call it bouncy, noisy ball (partly due to the noise of the ball bouncing on the floor, mostly due to Abby shrieking at it).I saw this, and it appeared it had more human control. I was leery about the stuffed cardinal, but figured it was worth a shot. The remote with so many buttons was promising. After opening it, charging it up, and turning it on, my reaction was disappointment. It has very little human control from a dog perspective. It really doesn't feel like a dog toy at all. Most of the buttons on the remote control the noise it makes. There are 8 choices - TikTok, Poem, Kids Tunes, Stories, Joke, Lullabies, Riddle, and TPR(?). None of these makes a hill of beans difference to a dog. Squirrel chatter, Cat meow/howl, Dog bark - THOSE sounds might interest a dog, although probably not with the tinny speaker this has. Abby played with it for a bit, but got bored and wandered off. Its performance was hit or miss. Sometimes it would keep bouncing for a minute or two, sometimes it would go for a few seconds and stop. Sometimes hitting a button on the remote would reactivate it, sometimes it wouldn't. I don't think the remote has terrific range, but that wasn't always the issue. To get a better feel for what was happening, I took the 'ball' out of the bird and tried it alone. The ball by itself was much more active, and Abby was MUCH more interested in chasing it than she was the bird. This might be a keeper after all.Again, though, the performance was hit-and-miss. At one point it would still make noise, but wouldn't 'Jump', so I opened it up to see if there was anything obvious. Of course, it worked then. I put it back together and tried it again - nothing. I could hear the little motor trying to start, but it wasn't spinning. After charging it again, it worked for a few minutes, but not long. I suspect the motor really drains the battery. As for the bird part - it's very nice, but I don't think it will hold up to a very aggressive dog for long. Abby begs for the bird, but she only wants it to shred, and I've no doubt she can. That's what Abbys do!This might be an interesting toy for a child, where the Lullaby and stories might be desired, although the spoken words are hard to understand on it. Maybe the battery life would be better if you don't have it jumping around, but it's marketed as a Dog Toy. In that vein, I don't think it succeeds.

My FURends and I were not impressed with this toy. It's WAY too loud and weird. The entertainment value lacked massively because both them and I were more annoyed and looking at it like......hhmmmm...OK???? It is durable. The plastic material seems to be safe in following standard and etc. Overall though, was not liking this and wouldn't recommend sadly.
