Easy to slip into place and adjust to the height you need for lifting. I am surprised how strong the are and how much they will lift. It's a perfect way to take your DIY projects to another level with out needing another person to lift and hold on your next project.

These two jacks are easy to setup and use. Intuitive to adjust and then use the handles to raise whatever is under them. I tried one jack on a couch that I was sitting on and it lifted me into the air. A fair amount of grip strength was required but it worked well. Very simple to use. There are all kinds of uses for something like these jacks, especially when a second or third person is not around to help.I've see people commenting that these are not as good as the famous name in this market, Viking Arm. I wouldn't expect them to be. ONE of the Viking Arm jacks costs around 200 while two of these jacks are around 40. If I were a professional contractor where I'd expect to uses these all the time and need them to be very durable... well go buy the expensive one. These jacks work well and are very affordable.Excellent tool to add to your 'tool box' !

They look good but am missing one of the allen screws to one of the lifting arms so arm is loose.

This is a good tool for remodeling. We are redoing our drywall and this worked perfectly. Easy to use. Helped my husband better than I could.

Do not believe the claim of “530 lbs bearing capacity when using both hand jacks together”. I was excited to get and try these arm jacks. On the very first use, well under the supposed bearing capacity, the lifting prongs bent (see picture). These are low cost imitations of the original VIKING ARM® made by the Viking Arm AS company. (The authentic and original tool is currently available here on Amazon, just search “Viking Arm”). At the time of this review, they are about four times the price of the HimaPro, but of course prices can fluctuate. I have no association or interest with either company. As long as you don't expect this to lift 530 pounds in real life applications, these can be useful for many projects, such as adjusting single sheets of drywall or plywood, holding a door for installation/adjustment, positioning empty cabinets, or helping to lay tongue and groove flooring adjacent to a wall. Just don't expect, or attempt, to lift anything too heavy with these HimaPro 12 Inch Labor Saving Arm Jacks.

I got these jacks specifically for installing new full-size drywall panels. The lift plate on the jacks is 5/32” thick and sits flat on the ground, so it was very easy to slide them underneath the drywall edges. The lift mechanism feels precise and operates smoothly. The jacks are very sturdy and stable in use. Good product overall.
