High quality stem, heavy duty, power coating good, but the threads are not machined consistent. Purchased two 12" stems and the light bases threaded on great. Purchased 3 24" stems, then cut in half to make 6 12". Could not thread the light bases on to the 24" stems. Only went on two threads. Messed up three light bases in the process. The same light base that screwed onto the 12" stem would not screw onto the 24" stem.

Standard size for 1/2"electrical box covers. I've bought many if these. Good quality.
