These are a good set of knee pads that stay in place pretty well and fit properly. They aren't the softest I have and I don't think I'd spend an entire day kneeling on them like a set of work knee pads. However, they're good if you're running around and want knee protection.There is a tradeoff in the retention method durability. The fastener is hook and loop vs the clip type found on work knee pads so they likely won't last as long as far as staying tight. That's not a knock against the pads, just a limitation of the fastener. You'll get plenty of use out of them before that happens. The benefit is full flexibility without any rigidness or hard components. A plus if you're athletic. Overall a good set that I'm glad I got.

Velcro tab is hard to grab.These are not heavy duty, but do provide some padding for light work. With a knee injury and stitches, I'm able to kneel with this when otherwise it would be too painful. I also have heavier pads which are much more bulky, so these work great and are comfortable.I don't think these are heavy-duty enough for certain sports, such as skating outside. Skating in a rink is probably fine, but you definitely don't want to go fall on concrete at any speed in these or they'll get destroyed.

The hook and loop closure on these is terribly done. The edges on the closure are razor sharp with corners that are sharp as pins. Better positioning of softer quality hook and loop would have made these top notch. I simply can't wear them at all on bare skin. The closure digs in and scrapes my skin. The knee padding is perfect and the pads don't slide around, but there's no way I can wear these without discomfort from the scraping of the closure edges. These aren't for me.

I've never found a decent pair of knee pads that were comfortable, don't slide around, don't pinch the back of my knees, or make the back of my knees all sweaty ( like with the sleeve ones that you pull on ). Then i saw these bad boys and i was like ... "YES" !!! These are the kind i was always looking for ( lightweight, cushioned foam kneeling surface, simple velcro straps to secure so that the back of your knees are open to air ... no sweating )..I purchased these with high expectations ( which i usually try not to do because you always wind up disappointed )..These arrived in 2 days. Came in a nice zip-lock type bag to store the knee pads in when not using them. I immediately opened the package and put them on. I snugged them up nicely and they were very comfortable. The velcro straps are very strong. I tested them out ....... kneeling on my hardwood floors. Standing up and walking around and kneeling some more ( like i do at work). They did not slide around, they are very comfortable and super lightweight, did not pinch the backs of my knees , and the kneeling surface (foam) is super comfortable. I'm going to be very happy with these : ).Not sure how durable they are ... time will tell. Price is fair at $19.99. I will be trying these out more in actual work environment and more than likely will be getting myself a couple more pairs..No more kneeling on hard surfaces on my bare knees causing pain and discomfort. I would highly recommend these !!!
