Hit List Seed - Purple Top Turnips Food Plot Blend (6 lbs - 1 Acre)
Purple top turnips are a staple in the food plot industry because they are easy to grow and are great at attracting deer.
Purple top turnips reach maturity in 70-90 days and produce green leafy forage that deer love in the early season and large bulbs that deer will eat in the late season.
Why Hit List Seed? I vividly remember standing in a high-end retail store, browsing the aisles, looking at every food plot blend. I would turn over each bag and read what was in the mix. I quickly realized that what was listed on the front of the bag didn't accurately reflect what was in the mix. Our mixes do not contain Rye Grass or other cheap fillers and additives that many of the big name brands use. We started this company to develop personal relationships with our customers and remove any of the fear that first time hunting food plotters may have.

Seedbed Preparation: Conduct a soil test prior to planting. Ideal pH is 6.0-7.0. Adjust soil by adding recommended lime
If weeds/grass competition is heavy, consider spraying prior to planting
Planting Instructions: Till or disk soil before planting and disc/cultipack after. If possible, time your planting when at least 1/4" of rain is forecasted and plant immediately prior to the rain

Have used others and this doesn’t come close the them. Didn’t really get a good yield from the bag. Throw and grow that I’ve used in the past works way better.

This stuff is second to none, awesome germination and growth rate, and the turnips get huge.
