This ridiculously overpriced item is poorly designed, but unfortunately necessary to fix my Hitachi 30 degree framing nailer mainly which failed after just a few hours use. After many attempts to recharge my gun, carefully following the step-by-step instructions you will find on YouTube without success, I finally fixed my gun using only the part that screws into the gun and the small hose which I hooked up directly the to air nozzle on my compressor and a pair of forceps to clamp off the hose while I unscrewed the fitting from the gun. This is the kind of thing that will make you develop a deep-seated hatred for the shmuck who designed it in the first place. Good luck to all who buy one...but you need the brass fitting on the end and I don't know where else you could get one. At more than $50 this thing amounts to extortion and theft. Good luck to all who need to fix their Hitachi product. I hope it works better for you than it did for me.

If you own any Metabo framing nailer, you should really but this! I didn't know this was something I could buy to service my framing nailer myself. A framer by trade, I use the Metabo nailer alot. After experiencing that nails would not sink into wood fully, I have done some research, and the reduction value easily fixes the problem. It's works exactly, and easily as it should to fix the issue! A great buy, and can save you money by not having to send you tool in for service.

This is an essential accessory if you own a Hikoki cordless nail gun. This is needed to re-pressurise your nail gun if the pressure drops. I’ve re-pressurised two of my three nailers and they work like new! Worked a treat. Highly recommend.

If you want to recharge the air cell on your Hitachi / Metabo cordless framing nailer this is the tool. All you need is this and your compressor (you can use regular air, the nailer don't use nitrogen anymore)

This valve set allows you to refill your nailer gun at home, no need to send it to a service centre. Pays itself the first time you use it. Price was lower than ordering from Hikoki Europe and only took a few days to arrive.

If you own a Metabo HPT cordless framer and you put regular use into it, eventually they need to be refilled to keep those nails sinking properly. This tool allows you to refill your nailers air chamber in a few simple steps without sending it away to be serviced. Worth the investment.
