The Hi-Tec non-slip shoes were ordered for wearing in my workshop and for casual use.I wear a 13 D (Medium) shoe. These shoes fit my feet perfectly. The shoes were worn for 1 1/2 days in order to test their comfort. During that time, the shoes were tested under conditions that ranged from poor to excellent. I walked and worked in the shoes on oily surfaces, dry & rough surfaces, dry & smooth floors, and gravel. Though I would not do it under normal condition, I also hit about 30 golf balls while wearing these shoes. The shoes were also light in comparison to some other works shoes I've worn. What I found was that the shoes were stable under all of these conditions. Though not totally slip-free in oil, I did not sense any major issues just because there was some slide on the floor. On dry surfaces, whether rough or smooth, the shoes provided stability for my feet. Gravel can be an issue, but these shoes did just about as good as any other shoe I've worn while working around our pasture land & driveway.At the end of each test, my feet felt good for having been on my feet for 12 hours and then for 4 hours. Were they tired ? Sure. But, the arches and balls of my feet were not excessively tired. I had no overwhelming desire to sit down and put my feet up due to aches and pains.I did not test them for water resistance, and thus have no comments to make. There was one thing about the shoes I did not like, but it is a personal preference and not a true negative about the shoes. The shoes come with longer, flat laces. I am not a fan of flat laces, and the shoe strings were a little long for the number of eyelets. Thus, sometime in the near future, the flat laces will be swapped out for larger rounded laces.BOTTOM LINE: These are some work shoes I would definitely order again. The comfort is excellent, and the sizing for me was correct. The price is more than competitive with other work shoes of similar quality or better quality.

These shoes didn’t work for me. The quality is good although the laces are lighter than others; I’m not sure how they’d hold up. I wear a 7Wide in Men’s and these seemed to fit fine width wise. The problem for me was the heel. The shoes were adequately secured across the top of my foot, any tighter would have been uncomfortable… but my heel on both feet was loose in the shoe. These were decently cushioned, which was nice, but the bottom line is I didn’t like how my heel was slip sliding around when I walked. The top was light weight and breathable, but overall, the shoe felt heavier on my feet than the shoes I normally wear. I have inside shoes that I wear in the house only, and I’d hoped to be able to use these for that purpose. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. I would not buy these again.

I purchased these for my husband and so far, so good. He normally wears between a 12 and a 13, depending on the shoe style and brand, and based on the size chart, we ordered a 13. They fit well with no slippage. The heel back is slightly higher than his other shoes, so it initially felt awkward. The actual heel (sole) is taller/thicker as well compared to his other shoes (sketchers) and was an adjustment when he first tried them on. The inserts are comfortable and the arch support is comparable to his other athletic shoes.He has walked miles on our daily dog walks and the sole has held up well - no immediate wear over a few weeks. No slipping in the heel and no blisters. He has worn these to do yard work and they allow air circulation for comfort.The shoes look nice but are too athletic in appearance to wear with dress pants to work. (he is a teacher - on his feet all day)Overall, these are a decent find and the price point is on par with other styles & brands.
