Perfect front sight for a self-defense handgun -- bright, bold and quick to acquire. Installed easily on my G17.

Great for the price. My old eyes pick up this red dot quickly.

The front sight is easy to put on but you need to buy a hex nut driver. It is a HUGE PITA to replace the back sight. The manufacturer recommends having a gunsmith do it and I can see why. I bought two sets of sights for my two Glocks. I like the result on my Glock 19 but for the smaller Glock 42 the sights are really too small for the hi vix sights to make much of a difference anyway and they are actually less visible in low light than the regular white sights.

Awesome right out of the box. Exactly what I was looking for for my Glock 19. Great sight picture, pure light capture. Shows up well in low light. I literally removed my old sight and installed this in less than 5 minutes. Great direct replacement. The GIANT plus is that it is MADE IN USA.

You could pay $150+ for Tru glow sights, but why spend so much? I changed out the sights on both my G35 and G23 gen3s. Kept the stock rear sights and just wanted something red that my eye could pick up faster at the range. This thing looks OK but functions great. Real nice bigger sight in daylight. people complain that it Does NOT GLOW IN DARK. Of course, why are you shooting in the dark? That is just plain stupid. The combination of this sight and a glock flashlight on your piece is better than any tru glow, and will still cost you less. Very satisfied.

It is a known fact that the eye has the ability to pick up red quickly and this has been proven over and again with the flood of red dot sights and lasers for the firearms market, especially with pistols. Since this is the case, I figured a glowing red dot is a glowing red dot, right? I was shopping for a laser for a baby Glock and while I was thinking about the high price I decided to shop around for a less expensive concept (I've got a couple pistols outfitted with Crimson Trace lasers and they're great fun to shoot). I've installed these fiber optic sights on three Glocks and they work great - as soon as you draw a pistol and line it up with the target, the red dot is right on the bullseye, so to me it operates like a redneck red dot sight with switches or batteries. The red dot is easier to see on overcast days, in fog, and at twilight. What could be simpler?

As soon as I got the package and looked at these sights I could tell that they were really bad. Immediately you see that the quality and workman ship is not there and it does not capture much light like other fiber optic sights...like Truglo. Spend a little more and get much much better sights. Dont waste your time with this product. Poor quality and doesn't work as advertised.
