I was surprised by the pricing on this, it's a bit less expensive than the kits like this that I normally buy. I have been collecting these for some time in order to teach my little ones how to do embroidery. This kit comes in a nice box which is also different (many I've received come in just clear plastic packages). Inside the box is a plastic screw-type hoop that's a good quality. There is a little clear zip bag that comes with a pair of inexpensive (not very sharp) scissors, a seam ripper, a flower-head needle threader, and 2 pom poms. I.... don't' know what those pom poms are for. Maybe to hold your needles? Also in this kit are three packages (one for each kit).Included in those packages are: a glossy page in color with the completed project shown as a picture (not a drawing), and instructions on handling the thread, using a needle threader, knotting the thread, using the hoop, and finishing the back of the embroidery project. There are QR codes that say they are for videos of each of those sections. That's all on the front of the page. The back of the page has instructions for the couching stitch, herringbone stitch, fern stitch, buttonhole wheel, woven picot stitch, fishbone stitch, stem stitch, whipped back stitch, buttonhole stitch, pistil stitch, feather stitch, weaving stitch, and satin stitch. There are also QR codes for each, which says they are for videos. The preprinted linen fabric is included for each one, and it will potentially fray - so at least consider taping or serging the edges of it for safety while you embroider it. The printing is nice and dark and clear. What a joy to sew! Absolutely perfect in my opinion for people who are beginners, or who want to work on honing their skills. There are a LOT of embroidery stitches, and you have to practice all of them (practice makes perfect, they say!).Additionally in the box, is of course a thread card with each thread already divided onto the card in its individual color. Also in that package are 9 needles.Love the patterns for this set, and I'm very happy with the price. The quality, storage for it, and all of the items included are absolutely wonderful for this price in my opinion. To me it makes a great hobby for yourself, or a wonderful gift, too, for friends, a coworker, or family. HIGHLY recommend this set!

While I haven't used this kit yet, the materials are good quality and the concept seems easy. I love that they have videos to help you through.

This three ring embroidery kit has been my trusty sidekick during long trips away from home. The designs are absolutely adorable and add a touch of personality to each project I complete. I'm particularly impressed with the quality of the materials - the hoops are sturdy and the included threads have vibrant colors that don't fade easily. I've found it incredibly convenient to pack in my travel bag, and it provides just the right amount of creative escape during downtime.

This embroidery kit has everything I need to start and learn embroidery. I really like that the instructions are very clear and includes links to a video on how to do the stitches. It has everything I need to start embroidering right away including all the needles, scissors, thread, etc. The thread is numbered on a card. I would have preferred that the thread was more bundled instead of hanging from a numbered card. It's just my personal preference though to keep things a bit neat. Otherwise, this is a great starter kit and would make a great gift.

This is fun for someone who has done a little hand sewing but wants to practice and add a few new basic stitches to their repertoire. The thread, needles, and other supplies are adequate basics to get you by until you decide if you want to spend more on nicer materials -- or to have as back-ups. There's only one hoop (some of the photos show three), but the listing does indicate only one comes in the set. I'd say it's a great way to explore a new hobby or experiment with picking one up after a long time away.

This set is great for beginners or experienced embroiderers. I really like practicing the different stitches and plan to turn my samplers into a quilt once I’ve made enough of them.It comes with everything you need, including links to video tutorials of every stitch. There are instructions on how to get started, as well as how to finish off your work when done. Each project comes in a separate plastic bag with the instruction sheet and printed fabric inside. Some kits like this come with the floss still in a skein and you have to separate, cut, and organize it yourself. The floss in this kit comes on a card already cut, sorted, and ready for you to use.In all the projects I have done, the pistol stitch and the French knot are my favorite stitches. This kit contains both. A stitch I had never done before in any of my projects in the woven picot, so I really enjoyed learning that one.I recommend this kit for anyone who wants to embroider, experienced or not!

Fun way to practice embroidery stitches for beginners. I accidentally picked up yet another hobby and this has been a great way to start out my journey to embroidery domination. It came with everything I needed to get started and is priced fairly for everything it contains. I really enjoyed working these and learning the different stitches. It's well thought out and put together for a beginner.
