I used to work gas/oil. We had to wear safety glasses all of the time. On night shift, I always wore the blue lens ones because they would "brighten" things up and allow you to see better at night.I started a new job as a hydrovac operator. I use a high powered pressure washer to spray the ground to cut holes/ditches for utility companies. Looking down into the holes can be nearly zero visibility at times, not to mention getting peppered in the face with loose gravel and dirt. So, I ordered the blue lense with hopes of increasing visibility and the grey mask so i wouldnt get peppered in the face. However, when I first received it, I opened it and tried it on. The blue lens does not have the blue HD field of vision that I had hoped for. Instead, the field of vision is dark smoke. Nearly impossible to see through in low light conditions. *UPDATE* The lens had a cover on it that I had to remove. My first go around with paintball masks and I had no idea. The field of vision is a light smoke, perfect for sunny days.All in all, I'm happy with the quality of the product and I would buy again. Wanted to leave this review to help others make a more informed decision about their purchase. Nice thing is, you can buy replacement lenses. I'm going to order a clear.
