They're well made and high quality. While the clamp feels strong, the top rim is thin metal, I think these would break in a couple years. As stands, they can't effectively hold single sheets of paper without bending. I put several pieces in, and the base toppled over. The lengths really aren't suitable for being a stand for anything larger than A5 (5x8 inch) size. So in essence, they're very bougie bulldog clips and not worth the price.
