Product is metal and not plastic. Requires priming and painting. Not what I thought I was getting. Very disappointed

Not real happy with it. To much mold slag to have to remove. It was very time consuming. Also, I had to use an epoxy resin to glue this. The glue they say to use is not appropriate to use, does not work....

Having bought there products, on other occasions, I expected a bit of fine tuning to clean edges. This one about wore my rasps out. After hours of clean up, I was able to paint and use. The final product now looks good.

Woodland should be ashamed. Die cast metal not plastic. This product is the absolute worst model kit I have ever purchased from these folks or for that matter any others. I have To label this as junk.

All of these reviews are silly. Most are from people that have no idea what they were buying. Woodland scenics makes a great product and these mini-scenes are very whimsical. If you don't know what your buying you might be disappointed. This rings true for many purchases. Not sure how that is the manufacturer's fault.

I am sure the manufacturer made a good product in their eyes. Problem,it is not described properly. The Chicken Coop is Die Cast Metal on a "tree" which takes very careful trimming and is labor intensive in order to assemble. Who wants to spend hours carefully cutting and triming and fitting small metal pieces just to add realism to your model railroad? If the "Coop" was molded in PLASTIC like most kits it would be a breeze to assemble, fit, and paint. Don't get me wrong I don't mind a little extra work and the product is a great concept but not when casted in metal. If you make a mistake you are dead in the water. While plastic molded items can be repaired and modified to suit your taste. This is why I gave it one star.

I purchased this piece for my dad for Christmas. It was exactly what he wanted so he was very happy with it.
