I bought this for a dark quilt. I had to iron it before I could use it. It was quite thin in spots, you could see through the batting.

Bought in black for a dark quilt I am making worked so well I bought a second one if you use white on a dark quilt it pokes through when you are working on it so I tried this one it is easy to glide through with the needle dense so it is warm I liked working it with hand quilting made the hand sewing easy. Will buy again

The product was perfect! I made a dark colored quilt and the black batting worked great. If you use white on a dark quilt it can poke through the back and show. The service was fast and without incident.

This batting could have been a little thicker. I found in some areas of the batting the cotton was almost transparent it was so thin. The fibers weren’t very consistent in the overall cut that I received. This was my first experience with black batting and I was a little disappointed that my selection was limited. It worked for what I needed though.But…. Once again I wish the inside of my handmade quilt’s quality matched the quality of the high end fabrics I used on the outside to construct the quilt.
