Got tired of the worthless traxxas electronics so I upgraded the ESC to a Max6 G2. Litle did I know, the Max6 G2 did not like all sensorless motors. The XRT's stock motor was one of them. It cogged so bad, it's barely drivable. I purchased this motor to replace the factory motor and it's a frigg'n BEAST! It sat for 7 months and in that timeframe, Hobbywing released a firmware to fix the cogging issue but too late, I bought this already. Even so, I did not regret it. This motor is heaps beyond factory... soooo smooth!

This motor equipped with esc 5 flat rips on Redcat Vigalante , unit is heavy with two 8000 batteries, this combination is a blast !

I have this in the xmaxx. It has a bit more power and can withstand tapped gearing much better than the stock xmaxx motor.

This is one of the best if not the best companies for Rc QUALITY parts. I’m slowly switching out all my electronics, brushless motors to Hobbywing to save myself the headache of some of these other Big named (Castle) businesses that seem like they are really ran out of their garage(castle) , they invest more in advertising their name (Castle) with sponsored YouTuber’s ( that get there broken castle stuff replaced when it burns up or breaks for free) I fell into the popular YouTube videos of castle and it was a costly mistake for me and a even bigger headache when talking with rude, unorganized people at castle That all seem to be related to each other.Hobbywing is LEGIT and the way to go.
