I have kept my LP's in a cardboard box for so long so I am glad to finally have a good storage carrier for them. This is very well made and heavy. Once it is filled with records it can be pretty heavy to carry but it will certainly protect them. This will hold them upright the way they should be stored, too. The only thing I don't care for are the cheaper type locks. They are good to keep them closed while transporting them. There are two clasps, though, so both need to be unlocked before opening. These are the little metal keys that tend to bend easily. Otherwise this is a nice product.

The leather quality is extraordinary and firm; additionally, the structure is secure enough that you will not have to worry about your albums from being damaged. It is roomy enough that you can store other items of your choosing. Overall, this is a phenomenal product that I highly approve of!

Solid box, size is good the lid pouch is nice for extra. The latches aren’t the best but they work and stay latched. Over a decent storage/travel box for your vinyls.

There are lots of storage bin type products for LPs out there, but I wanted something that provided added protection for my favorites. This Record Storage Case by Hododou was just the thing, I’ll tell you what. It’s made of wood and covered with a black vinyl faux leather, which looks classy. So there is a little heft to it when empty. But that wood is also what serves to help protect your valued LP vinyl. The latch system has those tiny suitcase style locks which serves more to keep the latches from inadvertently unlatching and the contents spilling out while transporting rather than to protect from nefarious individuals breaking into it to steal its contents. The inside has a felt lining, albeit a bit thin, but it seems adequate to provide a soft interior for you LPs. One of my larger album jackets wouldn’t fit, but that was the exception, the others fit just fine.

This is a record case that's meant for most ppl, from casual to hardcore collector. I used to be a fairly hardcore collector with over 5k vinyl. But I've since quit collecting and dissolved most of my collection. This case will do well for those who will keep it indoors and not travel much with it. The case does not have much padding for it to be used by those (mainly active vinyl DJs) who travel 2-10x/month for gigs; better to get a record bag with padding which will protect your vinyl records and be easier to travel with. But for the house situation, this case looks very cool and is well-made enough to last years with no issues.Pro: I really like the vintage look.Super pro: I really like the double lock feature. What a simple yet great integration to keep others from prying into the coveted record box's contents.Con: It's heavy (and with records, much heavier.) I'm not sure they can do anything about the weight since the wood needs to be strong for travel. If this case stays mainly in a room or closet then you won't have to worry about carrying it too much.Highly recommended, just not an all-purpose case for everyone (again, mainly working DJs,) but that's not its intention either. 5 STAR PRODUCT from a vinyl head.

Came in on time and packaged fine sorry I could only find one 44lp and and three 33lp's it has a nice felt inside also I am glad it has two locks and the case smells like a guitar amp a good smell.

My husband collects records and leaves stacks of them all over the house. I got this to try to help contain some of them. It is the perfect size. It resembles the black cases that musicians use to store and move their equipment, so it has a musical "vibe" to it. At $50, I'm a little disappointed in the handle since it's just cheap black plastic. A faux leather wrap would be nice to match the nice quality look of the rest of the box. It still works though, and if you're keeping it out of sight in the closet it doesn't matter much.
