I wasn't sure if the triangle shape would work as well as a traditional hoe but thought I would give it a try. This is my favorite hoe and I will not go back to a traditional hoe again. The triangular shape allows for the point to dig down to the root of the week and pull it out easily. The weight of the hoe is a little heavy but helps it to work in my favor when digging weeds. What normally takes me an hour or more to weed my gardens, now only takes about 10 minutes. I don't have to get on my hands and knees to pull the weeds. The shape of the triangular head allows me to turn it different directions and weed around my garden plants without hurting them. The handle is also adjustable to make it just right for each person that needs to use it. I highly recommend this hoe due to the great design and product features!

I like the concept of this tool. However, it's poorly engineered. Below the handle towards the head of the implement there is an insert in the tubing that is too short. The weld was of poor quality(not enough heat combined with a poor alloy). The weld did not seem to have used gas to shield from impurities. The head broke from the handle right along the weld. I would not recommend this tool.

The first item I received broke within 3 uses. It had a bad weld. Seller was quick to respond and send a replacement. So far, the replacement has not broken, but the weld does not look solid on this one either. The tool seems to be heavier than normal and blunt. Works great to pull trenches in freshly tilled soil, but hard to use on un-tilled soil. The joint sections of the handle have plastic covers. I think this is to add stability to the joints, but not sure how long they will last in an outside environment. Only time will tell.

Large hoe. First time I've seen a hoe come in 4 pieces. Quality remains to be seen with use. It aggressively cuts through the soil cutting weed roots. The hollowed out design means pulling less dirt forward with each stroke, resulting in easier moves. This seems to be a worthwhile garden tool as a very reasonable price.

Very happy with this triangular head garden hoe.never had a v-shaped hoe before...but it works great! Cuts through dry hard ground with little effort.Will never buy a traditional hoe again after using this.Note: edge is not sharpened but molded.
