Product is very wobbly. Nothing to do with install, it's the leg itself where is lifts up is made poorly

This table support appears to be well built, but there are no instructions included, and there are three parts that were loose in the box (a spring, a clip, and a small cap of some type), with no indication of where, or how they are to be installed. I think I have figured out where they go, no sure their function though.Parts appear to be well made, and if I can figure out how to install the loose parts, and provided there are not more parts that were supposed to be included (no inventory sheet to compare the parts present with the ones in the box) I think it will do what I need it to do. In all good conscience, I can't recommend this product.

I am remodeling my pop up camper and making a new table area. I wanted something to break down easily and strong enough to be stable while using the table top. Item fits together well and while I have not installed in camper yet the floor piece did fit well with post and did not wobble - was secure. I had noted others having some issues with that which made me a bit nervous to order. I do think if that becomes an issue, I would be able to work around it. It is strong thick aluminum which will hold up well. No instructions but pretty easy to figure out. Watch the buttons when pressing in, can pinch your fingers a bit but that could be me - I don't generally like the push buttons for this reason. For what I am using this for, It will work well for me. Price is average for this type item - some a bit more pricey so it is reasonable. Time will tell if price was worth it.

The Hoffen pedestal boasts a substantial table mount, a notable departure from the typically thin, cast aluminum bases found in many boat and RV tables. These flimsy bases often break easily, but the Hoffen's robust design suggests it will withstand the test of time. The adjustments are smooth and precise, with all components finished to a high standard. This pedestal style offers several advantages over traditional cone-type bases, as it sits nearly flush with the deck when the post is removed and the table top securely engages the post.I was initially thrilled to discover an adjustable pedestal stand compatible with Magma stands, but unfortunately, the threads on the Magma post are slightly too thick to fit. I plan to test the Hoffen post on the Magma base in the future and will update my review accordingly. One feature I would have liked to see included in the kit is stainless steel screws for deck and table mounting, which would have enhanced the overall value of this product.This kit isn't cheap, but the materials, design, and quality point toward the Hoffen pedestal outlasting similar boat and RV parts that cost significantly more. The attention to detail and robust construction of the Hoffen pedestal justify its cost, and it's certainly better than most of the overpriced, poor quality boat and RV parts you'll find out there.

Overall this is a decent pedestal stand and with some work, can be tightened up so there isn't any play. Very heavy and well-build, but just the connection to the base is a tiny bit loose. However, this will work perfect for my side table on the boat and would recommend to others
