We had a problem with mice and chipmunks making nests under our Generac generator. These hole caps are rubbery and plugged the holes up. Time will tell if the chipmunks chew them. They are easy to install and look nice. Generac should include these hole caps with every purchase because the problem with rodents is common. Fortunately the section under the generator is a separate compartment and the rodents cannot reach the wiring.
