I had been needing something to help with potty training when I ran across this item. Unfortunately there were no assembly or care instructions in the package. Assembly was easy enough, just slip the rods into the pockets and add connectors where needed.There are four suction cups and 8 adjustable clips included in the package. I am using them to hold extra Piddle pads on the back and side walls, but you could use them to anchor the cubby to the wall as well.

It would be a 5 if it came with directions. However, common sense and only one small mistake worked out fine. I do have pee pads over it. My goal was to protect my floors. Love the clips and it is sturdy. Great size too, good for larger or multiple dogs.

I believe in fair reviews, most of which are fairly positive, but a product with no instructions would usually earn 1 or 2 stars from me. It seems to me if i've manufacturer is confident about their product, they will invest the extra few pennies in making sure competent instructions are crafted. It also seems unfair to the customer to receive a product that requires assembly, which includes no assembly directions. Life is short, and most people don't have the time to piece together a puzzle they didn't purchase for expressly that purpose. Did I mention there were no instructions included? Beyond frustrating, and I'm sure it took 10 times as long to put it together because of that. Perhaps it was a fluke, but that's a pretty important thing to leave out.That said, the product does what it's supposed to do, protecting walls and nearby furniture, and does it quite well, and because of that, I feel a higher rating has been earned. It does seem like it's durable enough to last, the size does accommodate our dog, it's relatively easy to clean, and it's not prohibitively expensive.

I probably may have a different perspective on this. I foster senior cats, mostly those with medical needs. For variety of reasons some prefer pee pads to a litter box. This helps to contain any mess when they miss the pad and that works for me. Directions would have been good, but it’s not too hard to figure out.

First off, there are no instructions, and the material does have a bit of a smell, but it's going to be used outside and will air out before the puppy gets here. Assembly requires some light puzzle solving skills, but it wasn't bad at all. I would suggest laying everything out and sizing up the pieces and connectors before you begin the actually assembly. It comes with clips to hang pads on the side walls if you have a leg-lifter, and suction cups with hooks to secure the pen to a smooth floor, wall, door, or other smooth surface. I purchased this to prepare for a new puppy to use on the patio in inclement weather. Please note that I am combining this with a separate non-slip magnetic puppy pad holder and bamboo patterned pads to "complete the grassy look" and weigh the base down. These work exceptionally well with this, and I love that it can evolve with my male puppy and I can add side pads if he starts" aiming higher" as he gets older. I really wish I'd have had one of these 5 dogs ago!

No instructions for assembly! If you like Tetris puzzles and have lots of time and patience, this is perfect for you. There are multiple bits and pieces, multiple joints and other bits - and absolutely no instructions - not even a pictogram. But the dog isn't scared of it so it's doing its purpose.

I know this isn’t for potty training but just to train your dog to go inside of it. But it just did not work. It’s still up and no success. It’s a pretty good size and you just put potty pads down . I have a female and I know male dogs need the pads hung up to avoid a mess . So I can’t vouch how well that works .It’s a nice concept and I’m sure it will work for other dogs. It’s just not something that works for our doggy. I’m bummed because the pads all over our apartment look tacky and she’s a rescue dog so wasn’t house trained when we adopted her . Love her so much and will just keep trying to think of ways to train her to go on the pads consistently . Then maybe something like this might work. It’s sturdy and was easy to put up.
