I wanted something simple to put in the kitchen and this appears to be simple. The day we put it up, the chair board on seat starts to peel. I definitely recommend seat cover because baby, these seat are extremely hard. Over just a bad pick.

It is not wood. But looks great and is very easy to assemble. Great for small spaces.

This dining set is perfect for small spaces, very easy to assemble (my 13 yr old daughter and I put it together), and has been very sturdy. I did have to tighten a bolt in one of the chairs recently but that's because I have a crazy 8 yr old. I love the look of this table.

This Dinning room set has its pros and cons for sure. While it's a fine table the chairs to have issues. I mean you get what you pay for but we expected a bit better for this price.Pros:-While it is time consuming to assemble it is easy. It took me about an hour to assemble the table and all the chairs but it wasn't hard to do.-It looks super cute and is as pictured.-its the perfect size for an apartment or small Dinning room. We were looking for a small table to fit into our new apartment and it's perfect.Cons:-whatever the "paper" that is the design on the chair is coming off. It's almost like a wallpaper material but it does not stay put. It's starting to come off the chairs which is annoying.-while the table does feel sturdy the chairs are having issues. The bolts constantly come loose and the chairs wobble. I have to tighten the bolts maybe once every 2 weeks on the chairs, which is pretty annoying.

Assembling the chairs are the hardest part of assembly. If done incorrectly, you will believe the holes are in the wrong place or the back of the chair is bent forward. Vyt neither was true for me, although I believed it to be the case on the first assembly attempt. See below for more info.Other than assembly, which took about 2.5 hours for me by myself, the table is lightweight yet sturdy on a carpeted area. It is wood pressed particulate with a laminate faux wood feature. The laminate is likely to peel off after a few months, so use tableclothes or placemats and coasters. It fits in a small area but provides enough surface space for 4 people to eat at, which is what I was looking for.Having trouble with assembly?:If the back of the chair is bent forward then unassemble the back frame, rotate around, then reassemble. The curve of the back's frame should point toward the base of the chair, not away.If the holes on the seat of the chair do not align, try first attaching the leg frames so that the holes line up. Keep in mind that the seat is not a perfect rectangle, but instead the more narrow section will be the closest to the back of the chair. The legs should be toward the wider section of the seat. The wood grain design should be perpendicular to the leg frame and go from left to right of the chair, not front ton back.

Do NOT BUY THIS! Fundamental flaw cannot be fixesd outside of it properly being manufactured in the first place. Seller would not refund money, instead sent me the same worthless table set. Tried to fix the table, cannot be done. Great two worthless tables... yay!******** After using this set for a little bit it has a major and catastrophic flaw.. the seat screws, screw directly into the wood seat and they inevitably pull out of the wood with the slightest movement. Chair fell backwards, seat pops off and the holes in the wood are of course stripped. These needed anchors built into the wood seat Like on the back support pieces. Now our fantastic set is becoming unusable. Contacting the seller for a solution.********* Fantastic for our RV, works well with our safety first toddler boosters and we can still push the chairs in. Delivered with no issues, no damage to the pieces. Directions basic but adequate, the key is to NOT tighten everything all the way until you are done with that entire chair (or the table). The other key is to make sure your wood seat screws go into the pilot holes, so the seat is straight. Otherwise your wood seat will be crooked on the chair.

Overall, I’m fairly happy with this set. For the low price, it looks nice and seems sturdy so far. The instructions say you need 2 people to assemble it but it’s doable with 1 if need be.I had to knock off 1 star because the quality of the materials definitely made assembly a lot slower. Many of the screws were quite difficult to put in due to the holes having debris from production or being slight askew. They looked like parts that probably shouldn’t have passed quality control but did anyways. The biggest problem I had was with the chairs. The wooden boards have 4 pre-made holes already in them for the screws to connect it to the metal frame. Unfortunately, no matter how you turn the board there’s always 2 that won’t line up. They were about an inch off from lining up with the frame. I ended up having to just make my own holes in the boards for all the chairs.
