Home Canning Supplies Starter Kit. I just recently learned how to make and can jam, and I plan to do a lot more of it. I wanted to get some of the things my teacher used, and this kit basically covered all of it, and in my favorite color, so what’s not to love, right? The things I’m using the most are the jar lifter, funnel, and magnet stick. However, the other things do come into play. They’re all working just great, and I have no complaints, so far, although I should point out that being plastic, the funnel and measuring implement/bubble buster are going to be a bit more flexible than the metal versions my teacher had. It isn’t affecting me adversely, but some people might prefer metal. Working great for me, though. I can’t believe this whole set costs less than a movie ticket. What a bargain!
