It's easy to mount and the instructions are easy to follow:
Walk around your yard till the highest signal strength is received on your phone (2-5 bars). Once you ascertain the best location then mount the outdoor antenna. Make sure the outdoor antenna is above 15ft off of ground,at least 6ft away from metal building and aims at your phone carrier's tower
Place the booster in the house where is near from the power socket and have good ventilation. Connect the indoor antenna to the INDOOR of the booster, make sure the indoor is above 28ft away from outdoor antenna and a wall between them. Don't plug it in till the final step
The 50ft cable is long enough to separate the indoor and outdoor antennas,the SMA connector of the cable will go through the smaller hole. It's widely popular in Living Room, Bedroom, Office, Garage, Basement, storehouse,etc
Sometimes the cell service can be less than ideal, buildings, Hills, forest and other obstacles will attenuate cell phone signal considerably, cause low bars and dropped calls.

These things are absolutely critical for the cell phone signal booster to work:
1. Confirm your phone is receiving the band 12/17 signal from your carrier's towre
2. Make sure the Outdoor yagi Antenna towards your carrier's tower,and could receive 2-5 bars of stable signal at the place where it's installed
3. Keep the indoor antenna is about 32ft away from the outdoor antenna and make sure a wall between them. Don't make the outdoor antenna aims at the indoor antenna
4. Keep the power is off during installing antennas
Attention:
1. The Cell Phone Booster will cover up to 3,500-4,000 sq.ft/up to 2-4 rooms, if the outside signal is weak, it will cover a lot less area inside than stated 3,500sq.ft
2. The cell phone signal booster can't create any signal, it will only boost what it can receive. Which is exactly how this works. If the outside signal is less than 2 bars, it won't boost the signal for your phones

I live in a remote rural area with few cell phone towers. When friends and family tried to call me, my phone did not ring and they were directed to voicemail. Needless to say, this was very frustrating. I installed the signal booster antenna and, voila! No more lost calls. Now, my phone rings every time. I am very happy.

With AT&T, this really solved my problems. I have 4 bars inside the house, where I had none or 1 before. Sometimes, when coming home, I have to switch on and off airplane mode to see the "new" tower, but that's a minor issue and related to the phone, not this product. Would recommend.

This signal amplifier only works on bands 12 and 17, so do as they say, and check the band your phone is working on. I've had mine a couple weeks, and until yesterday, had pretty much no benefit from it. My network and phone were CAPABLE of working on those bands, so I thought this would work. Wrong. I had to FORCE my phone to use those bands, with an app that does just that, in order to get this amp to work for me. Now, instead of getting 1-2 bars, I get 3-4. It's still a little finicky, because it seems like only a certain tower in my area broadcasts on those channels. But as long as I aim the antenna in that direction, it DOES WORK very well.

You'll need to buy a separate brace!Of course, even if you buy it, the plastic box still won't get a signal.Don't waste your time.

I was pretty skittish about buying this, but it really works. I live in a rural area with terrible cell service. I used to rarely get service in my house. I don't have my 5G, but I typically have all bars of LTE service and my phone works great inside now.
