I planted these less than a week ago, and I'm already getting little sunflowers sprouting! I'm super excited to see what kinds of different varieties there are - I love sunflowers, and this is a huge amount of possible plants.For the price, this is a huge amount of seeds, enough to cover quite a bit of ground. The packet has all the necessary information on sowing, and the possibility of keeping these for long-term storage is high, given that they were in a sealed mylar-type bag. Overall high quality, and I'm super excited for this year's wildflower garden!

I'm always a bit skeptical when ordering any seeds on any website other than gardening sites, but I saw these and HAD to have them, as I've been dreaming of planting some sunflowers around the house.The "testing" of these seeds for me was just germinating them. If they germinate then they're good! Sunflower seeds are easy to identify so I'm not worried about getting invasive seeds.I took one random seed, put it in a damp paper towel, folded it over, and put in a plastic dish in a dark place. After 2 days I got a taproot! I was expecting it to take 5+ days not knowing how old these seeds are, but it popped in only 2!Now it's time to throw it in some soil and let it grow! I'm soooo excited!

I can't wait all summer for these to germinate and grow to give a review, so I'll say what I can.1500 plus seeds, you do get a variety. I did not count them, but there's a lot of sunflower seeds in the package. Germination rate is claimed to be (on the package) 85%, so if that's true, I'll have sunflowers out the whazoo, which is fine, exactly what I want.Packaged well, the seeds look fine, I planted three beds of them around the yard already, and I still have half the package left to spread out in more places. I truly hope these do well, because I plan to let these seed themselves, and spread across my extra "problem" areas in the lawn, and in a few years, perhaps have a large sunflower garden for all the birds and bugs to live in and on.

Whenever I plant something around my house or on my homestead, I consider the size of the adult plant. For example, I would plant shorter plants in my deck planters or under a window and taller plants where they have room to grow. Because these sunflowers seeds are all mixed together, I suppose I will assume that the smaller seeds are the shorter plants and the larger seeds are the larger plants. And then I guess I’ll just keep my fingers crossed.This is a huge supply of seeds in a quality zip lock bag. However, I truly wish the nine varieties were in their own packets for the reason I just mentioned, as well as the fact that it’s nice to know what variety is growing where.

this is a huge pack of seeds, thank goodness the package is resealable. these are only just now going in the ground, so i will have to give update pics once they bloom. there is no way of knowing which seed is which unless you do some hardcore investigating online to match species and seed, which, i have and will be doing more of soon, as i plant more seeds in the ground. would have loved to have them separatd to know what i'm planting where. still this is a great value for the amount of seeds included. will keep this post updated as things change and grow

Do you love sunflowers and want just a ton of them? This will be the item for you! You get 9 different varieties of sunflowers within your 1,500 seeds. I'm not entirely sure what anyone will do with this many seeds. Maybe you have a farm and want to cover a large area with sunflowers? Either way, you're going to have a ton of fun growing a crazy amount of sunflowers. They are easy to grow, and the fact that you get so many seeds, it will be easy to get enough flowers grown. The different types of sunflowers are very beautiful, as well.

lots of seed for the cost, nice variety....I only just got them into a tilled bed, will add photos later, but they look to be good quality and I am excited to let them do their thing
