I'm not sure about sausage... I got this to stuff manicotti shells. It worked perfect. The shells are difficult to stuff with one person, but with this device made it a breeze. Before this, I was using a zip lock bag with the corner stuffed. This is a huge time saver!

While I still get the occasional sausage package from the store, using this has given a better tasting and better cooking sausage compared to the store bought stuff.

As the title suggests I did not use this to make sausage. I used it to fill manicotti with cheese filling. So much easier than using a ziplok as a pastry bag method. Works great for filling pasta.

It does not work for meats. Comes out the top fantasy design would not purchase, my wife threw it away if not purchased over 30days ago would have sent back do not buy this for Stuffing anyting.
