Everyone who has a dog or cat, needs to have this tool, to protect your animal from diseases caused by ticks. Don't assume your pets medicine takes care of those ticks!

Good for spot removing dirt and small bugs from my 20 lb poodle mix with mostly curly hair. Best to use a regular brush or comb to break up any tangles and smooth things out first. I don't think that it's really meant for combing out your dog. I just use it on certain areas of his body (like his dirty paws) (you need to wipe the comb down every once in a while). I only gave it a 4* versus a 5*, because I haven't yet used the tick removal tools (so I'm not sure how they work). The comb itself might work to remove dead ticks, but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure if it works, I haven't had the chance to use them..but when I do I'll post it. Only thing is,the little thing you scrap the tick with looks exactly like the little things you use to get food out between your teeth!! Just exactly , so you might try one of them . 😂

I thankfully haven’t had any parasite on either my cat or dog but wanted this kit on hand just in case. I used the comb this morning on my cat just to ensure he has no fleas/bugs and he’s IN LOVE. Every time I pulled my hand away, he head butted me hard enough to drop the comb. He then just took over, trying to comb his own chin. The dog soon lined up to see what the commotion was about and he’s now also addicted. The dog hates his furminator/other brushes but apparently can’t get enough of being combed with this device. It’s sturdy, the teeth of the comb are firm without being sharp at all, the handle is comfortable to hold and it does an excellent job of gently running through both fine cat fur and wiry German shepherd hair. The tick tweezers look to be of great quality as well. So glad I made this purchase. As are my pets that now have a combing spa experience.
