I bought this to be a Bluetooth receiver, not a transmitter. Even with the right adapters, this only transmits from something from a device with an audio jack (discman, Walkman, stereo) and doesn’t receive for headphones or speakers. Total waste of time and money.

Excellent appareil et après avoir acheté plusieurs autres modèles, c'est le meilleur au niveau de la faible latence. Je suis opérateur radio en code Morse (CW) et j'ai besoin de monitorer ce que je transmets en même temps...

Just got this a few days ago, so I haven’t traveled with it yet. However, it paired flawlessly with my EarPod pro’s, and my Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. Sound seemed good with dialog from a movie. I can’t comment on music quality sound or reliability, but I will update if anything happens.

Love this little guy. Ordered two for my wife and I and works as advertised with my Airpods Pro 1st and 2nd Gen. Very easy to pair and use. The battery outlasted my Airpods on a long international flight of ~9 hours.

I bought for international flight use so I could enjoy my noise cancellation ear buds. It took multiple attempts before I could get it to pair despite following the instructions. Eventually worked well but should’ve paired first try, not 10th

This felt like it's gonna be a great product but I'm a little disappointed. I'm using it in a car to stream music to my stereo. It works fine for that, but there are 2 issues:- sound quality is mediocre, my old fiio uBTR sounds better,- it will sometimes lose "frames": every now and then the sound will glitch which is annoying especially that in my car, the device and phone are really close to each other, so this shouldn't happen,On the bright note pairing was easy as 1-2-3. I like that there is a switch to quickly move from receiving to transmitting mode. Decent device for occasional use (if you're not an audio enthusiast).

Used on multiple flights now. Battery, connection, sound (quality and lag) are all good. The buttons could be labeled better. Keep the instructions around for a while.

I intend to use this adapter for its intended purpose on an airplane, but tested it using the 3.5mm earphone jack on my iPad Mini. I first tried to charge it, but it was fully charged out of the box. The pamphlet doesn’t mention it, but a red LED glows when charging that goes out when full.I turned the power on, set the switch to TX (transmit), held the front switch down for a few seconds and it paired immediately to my Bluetooth earbuds. Extremely simple. The sound was excellent with no background noise and volume was easy to adjust using a big wheel on the front. There’s a switch on the side that filters almost all frequencies except for the range of human voices; they call it a voice enhancer. It may be useful for something like an audio book.Included are a short USB Type C to A charging cable and a soft drawstring bag. The bag can hold both the adapter and my earbuds in their case. The device itself is very compact, about the same width, 2/3 of the height and half the thickness of my earbuds case (excluding the attached cable and plug). If you fly frequently and want to use your Bluetooth earbuds or headphones with the plane’s entertainment system, this is for you.

I have operated this device now through two different speaker systems and while I did manage to get it working on both it was not without some issues. Actually I figured if anything would be problematic it would be obtaining a bluetooth connection but that was not a problem. Connecting to my iPhone 13 via bluetooth and using it in 'Receive Mode' to 'feed' an active speaker was no bluetooth connection problem. When using it in 'Transmit Mode' and connecting via bluetooth to bluetooth enabled speakers was not a problem either. My issues seemed to lie primarily in the device hardware. First of all, the 3.5 mm jack did not fit snugly into the female ports on my equipment. When plugged into the active speaker which works fine with other audio cables I would get no audio at times, loud audio at other times, and weak audio most of the time. Fiddling around with the plug I could get it to vary some but nothing would stabilize the signal. Another weird result was that when I transmitted a stereo FM signal from an internet radio station I could hear the music (at varying degrees of quality and volume) but I could receive nothing when streaming an AM broadcast. I then connected a 'stereo to mono' adapter between the HOMUSPOT device and the active speaker and voila' that seemed to cure all the audio ills. It was as if one channel of the audio from the HOMUSPOT was dead. When using the device as a transmitter to a bluetooth enabled speaker I had better success with the audio but in that scenario the volume control on the device seemed to have no effect. Volume needed to be adjusted through the input device instead. In my scenario it was an FM radio transmitter. The device also has a "voice enhancer" which is supposed to improve the tone of speech reception. It is switched on and off with a button and provided audio feedback when in 'receiver' mode so you knew whether the enhancer was active or not. However in transmit mode the audio feedback was not active. You could only guess which mode you are in. Not that it mattered...I could not tell a difference at all in the audio whether I was listening to talk radio or music, it all sounded the same to my ear whether the 'enhancer' was on or not.

The main volume dial wobbled badly even before I turned it on for the first time. The cable is rather small gauge and has very little insulation, which is questionable durability, especially if you bend it (as it was dangled from an aircraft audio jack). All the markings for the switches have very little contrast against a black background, almost discernable under even slightly dark lighting. Overall, it feels rather flimsy and made of low-grade plastic material.

Right out of the box and within 2 minutes or so, I had this Bluetooth transceiver-receiver send music from my Mac to my Hub to my Google Pixel Buds using Spotify (just to be sure, I made sure the Buds were connected to nothing else but the receiver). The signal was clear up to about 20 feet (so within visual range of the transceiver).I've not been able to set it up as a receiver yet as my sole "in-line" was my Hub and while my phone connected to the gadget, and I could see feedback between its volume knob and the volume level on Spotify on my phone, I couldn't hear anything. But I'm 99% certain it's a "me" problem, or my never-tested Hub's in-line port. We'll try it again on my partner's old JBL speaker soon and I'll revisit this review. All in all, I'm enchanted at how easy it was to setup and how versatile this little TX/RX gadget is.

It's been awhile since I switched to wireless earbuds, all my wired ones are in a drawer god knows where.Every time I am on a flight, need to get my monstrous tablet out to watch movies/shows because can't connect my wireless earbuds to the airplane onscreen media. This little device will solve that issue.I tested it with an older iPad and it worked amazingly. I was very easy to pair with my earbuds. Sound quality is crystal clear and connection is stable. Love the old school volume wheel, easy to access mute when the flight attendant comes.Build quality is great too, the plastic feels just like the one used in Apple products, very high-end.The adapter's battery has an autonomy of 25/20 hours depending on the mode you are using and it charges via USB-C, which is a bless. All in all, super exited with this product, can wait to use it in my next trip and leave the tablet in the bag.
