Heats well. Size is good for a large mug. Sturdy quality. Cord is long enough to reach to out let and not have to be stretched. Great value. Would definitely buy a again or for a gift.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I’ve had the warmer for about 6 months. I bought it to keep my coffee hot at home in the morning. For the price point, it works fine. It does not keep my coffee as hot as I like it (I like it very hot), but it still allows me to sip my coffee slowly and still have warm coffee. It works better on smaller cups. I like the simple on/off toggle switch and the light to remind me it’s on. The size is good. It’s plenty big enough for all my mugs, but still compact and space saving.TIP 1: I turn the warmer on BEFORE I brew my coffee so the warmer can preheat. I also place my mug (with a tiny bit of water in it) on the warmer to begin heating it up while my coffee is brewing. This helps my coffee stay hot longer.TIP 2: I recommend a mug with a lid. My favorite mug doesn’t have a lid so I place a saucer on top when I have to leave my coffee sitting. A cover will keep the coffee hotter and fresher. Two things I would change: 1) I would make the warmer get a bit hotter. 2) I would make the cord longer and put the toggle switch a little closer to the warmer base.

Malheureusement il ne tenait pas mon café au chaud, donc je l'ai retourné et ai été remboursé. J'inscrit 3 étoiles car je n'ai pas eu de problèmes avec le vendeur pour le retour et le remboursement.

Until a week ago, I never knew there was even such a thing as a mug warmer. I stumbled across this when I was looking for a wax warmer. First, the instructions say it's best to use with a stainless steel mug ... who uses a metal mug to drink HOT coffee or tea out of? And it also says to use a mug with a flat bottom, meaning there is no "foot" or extra bottom to the mug. Well I use a ceramic mug with a foot thing on the bottom so I was skeptical if this would work for me but the warmer did it's job and kept my tea at a warm-hot drinkable temp. I'm impressed and wish I had known this thing existed a long time ago! I would definitely suggest you use it on a flat temp safe surface (don't put it on a cushion or fabric) because the underside does get warm - not hot but you can definitely tell something warm was there when you move it. The plate is pretty large and I think most cup sizes will fit onto it. It's pretty basic looking, it's not going to win any style awards, but it does what it's meant to do and I'm very happy with it. The cord could be a little longer but that's not a deal breaker for me. If you want something to keep your beverage warm and you have a little patience, I think this warmer is perfect. I have also noticed that if I keep my cup covered with a folded napkin or paper towel on top (to prevent a film from forming, I guess from my creamer?), it makes your beverage twice as hot. I’ve used this warmer daily for awhile now and it’s great! I plugged mine into one of those remote plugs so that I can just use the remote to turn it off instead of having to reach for the cord to turn it off or on every time. It’s a little lazy but then again maybe I’m a genius too :)

I notice on the questions and anawers, people asking about the distance the switch (which is on the cord) is from the base, and wanted to leave feedback about this. Awhile back, I wanted 2 warmers, for different rooms, and wasn't sure which was best, so ended up buying one of these, and one "Mr Coffee" They were both around the same price and sounded the same. The Mr Coffee one has a switch ON THE BASE, you push back and forth to turn it on and off. At first I thought this was good, on my desk it's easy to use and I don't have to find the switch down on the cord., I have the Mr Coffee on (switch on base) on my computer desk and this one (switch on cord) on my bedside table. It worked out good, except, no matter how careful I am, a little wetness sometimes spills onto the base, and the one with the switch ON the base (next to the cup) has gotten wet at times, and now hardly works. I have to push the switch and wiggle it and sometimes it comes on. Also on both of them, the material under where the cup sits gets wet and is peeling off. I have tried putting aluminum foil over the base (which doesn't seem to affect the heating) but it doesn't last and sticks to the bottom of the cup when I pick it up. So, I am living with the base peeling, it doesn't seem to hurt the use of it. I am now buying another one of these X Mug warmer, to replace the Mr Coffee one with the switch on the base that doesn't work good. Long story, but to answer the question about the switch on the cord, it seems to be much better, out of the way and not where it can get moisture in it from whatever is in the mug. It's also easier than reaching around the mug, to find the switch (on base) and turn it off, and the base gets quite hot. Though, overall, for the price (under $10) probably all of the brands aren't going to last as long as one that might be a lot more to start with. I've had the ones I have, which I bought 8 months ago.
