I got this after dropping and breaking the lids from two different glass salt cellars on the porcelain tile floor. Although this is quite light-weight stainless and might get dented eventually, I'm quite happy with it. Bonus: the spoon is a nicer shape than I expected. Compare my photos to mfgr photo.

I don't know whether you remember seeing these containers full of chili sauce at a Thai restaurant, or sugar at a classic American diner. But this kind of simple, aesthetically pleasing object that will last a lifetime has a subtle beauty that transcends cultural differences. There's not much to this round stainless steel container. It has SUS304 stamped on the bottom and the spoon, I assume that is the grade of steel it is made from. This humble yet elegant server will look good on your table and serve you for a very, very long time. Who could ask for more?Sometimes things in this world are still as simple as you remember. This is one of them. If I had to pick a gripe, it would be that the spoon is a little small, so if you're serving a lot of something, you need to dip in a few times. It really doesn't matter though. Get this if you want a little elegance on your table.
