I really wanted to like this beard, but the mustache part just doesn't seem to work well. Other than that the thing is really well made. It is still fun to wear (both kids and adults).

This item isn't expensive, so I didn't expect much, and I was still disappointed. The beard is extremely thin and wispy. It doesn't really provide a ton of coverage that you would expect with an item like this. The mustache portion won't sit right, and the elastic is cheap, and mine came stretched.I wouldn't waste my money on this. There are better options out there.

This beard and moustache are perfect for a wizard costume, or even a Santa costume. It's a little scratchy against my skin when I talk, but that's the only setback I see. It's a great beard for the price, and I'm very happy with it!

This brown beard is thick and curly, with straight hair in the mustache that covers a bit of the lips. The two elastic bands help it to stay in place. This would make a great Hagrid (from Harry Potter) beard, or a LOTR wizard beard if you got it in white or gray. Perfect for stage or up close costuming. The hair even looks real, not too shiny or itchy. I've tried multiple fake beards, and this is by far my favorite!!

Nice beard. It looks better than I expected. The “hair” is pretty soft. The drawback is the netting that the hair is attached to. My husband said it’s a bit scratchy so he wouldn’t really want to wear it very long at a Ren Faire or a costume party. I did a bit of judicious trimming, a little nip and tuck, so he says it feels much better and looks forward to wearing it for many faires and Halloween events. Overall, he likes, so I like it.

My son wanted to wear a fake beard to dress up to see the Minecraft movie. This one works very well. It is obviously not a realistic beard, but it was perfect for his silly costume. It was comfortable to wear, with elastic that goes around/over the head and doesn't pull on your ears.

This does look fun from the front. The white hair is good and not too cheap. The mouth opening, however, is very small to non-existent and not like the picture at all. The mustache hair goes over the mouth. Every time I tried to talk there was hair on my lips and trying to get inside. There are two elastics to hold it on your head. One needs to be at the top of your crown or it will slide off. Inside the beard is the biggest problem. I wanted to love this beard, so I don't know what they were thinking. The hair is attached to a yellowed lace-type fabric that looks like it's yellowed and almost dirty because of age. That's the part that goes against your skin. To make matters even worse, the seams are scratchy and uncomfortable and not flat, though even the flat ones are scratchy and uncomfortable. I don't see how you could talk in this comfortably and have it moving on your face without getting a rash. I wore it for five minutes and was grateful to take it off because of the discomfort. It was a bummer because it did look fun and silly and I was hoping to use it in a wizard costume. I don't know why the company did a good job on the front and such a bad job on the back of the beard that goes against your skin. It's unfortunate.
