I'll say my experience is a little bit limited. As I haven't put too many miles on this particular injector.I'm running a 2022 Honda monkey and swapped it out for the standard injector. The computer reset was necessary and it will not run great for the first few miles. In fact it will bog down like it's getting too much fuel. The computer will eventually start making up for it and cause it to run better. Outside of that I haven't noticed any performance gains. Maybe even losses at this point.I'm running a K&N filter on the Standard air box and a Yoshimura exhaust no cat.Speculations at this point. It's probably running a little Rich still as I have not put on enough miles for the computer to balance out the difference in injectors. Not 100% sure that it will completely balance out with my current setup.Do notice that on the takeoff it seems to have more torque. Front tire likes to unload it's suspension and almost pop up on a normal basis.I suspect that the Chimera intake would help significantly, getting more air to the motor but I like the stock box look. I also don't like worrying about water and getting into my intake. But this may not stop me, at some point in time, from trying different intakes. It does change the exhaust note a little bit. seems to be a little more pop but keep in mind the engine may not have fully found its tune.If it is running a little rich that's not necessarily a bad thing, as running lean can cause your motor to run hot. And being a 6-ft tall 260 lb man on what is essentially a moped that could be a worry.Final thoughtsIs it necessary? Nope. But it's the cheap experiment that won't hurt anything. Hopefully the stock ECU will tune it out correctly and maybe doll out a little more top end.Ultimately a programmer like Aracer would make the most of all of this. That's an $800 pill that I'm not ready to swallow yet.
