This fuel pump actually fits. Bought an aftermarket pump and it didn’t fit. If you have a Honda EU2000i, this is the pump you need

Everything seemed to match what it looked like in the photo(s) that the seller uploaded on Amazon.com and, my package delivery arrived at my doorstep reasonably on-time. The bubble packaging wasn't damaged. Worked out well with fixing my old 1997 motor vehicle! Thank You.

I order 3 items. Carburetor, fuel pump and sponges for the air filter. The carburetor has the wrong electrical harness. I suppose the other items will be fine when I get the right carburetor.

I have an old Honda EU2000i that is rarely used, and I am not good about removing the gas between test runs. I start it every few months to make sure it works, and run for 10-15 minutes. In recent months, it no longer wanted to start, and eventually wouldn't even keep running with starter fluid shot into the air filter housing. After researching, I found that the two likely culprits were the fuel filter, and the fuel pump. The fuel filter is a strange plastic straw thing "inside" the fuel hose coming out of the fuel tank. I removed it completely, and it was very clogged. I left it out and replaced with a traditional "inline" glass fuel filter that allows me to see if fuel is flowing, and easier to change. Even with that changed, it still did not want to run reliably. This pump definitely solved the major issue which was lack of fuel flow. It is a little painful to take the generator apart to replace, and make sure you take photos to get the new pump back in the right way (I messed up once and had to take it all apart again to resolve). Once replaced (properly), I got my Honda "one-pull-start" back and now it's like new.Highly recommend this pump as a first attempt if your Honda EU2000i generator won't start or stay running.

We have a honda generator 2000 that is about 10 years old and haven't used it in a couple years and we didn't store it right, so I got this and looked up a youtube video to clean the carburetor and cleaned everything I could with carburetor cleaner and put this on and it runs great. Before I put this part on, it wouldn't start without dumping gas in the carburetor. It wouldn't run right and it wouldn't prime itself, but now everything runs great and ready to go for our camping trip. I also went and found some ethanol free gas and put it in for the summer. I will be sure to drain it after the camping trip this year.
