OEM part with a slight difference. My craftsman lawnmower with a Honda engine listed a certain model of carburetor. When I ordered the same model listed it didn’t have the stem on top of the carburetor for the choke. So I had to return it and get a slightly different model with a cone shaped bottom. It was tough lining up 4 gaskets for 2 bolts but I took my time and BAM it started on the first pull. Awesome! It runs like new. Knocked out my yard. Thanks!

The carburetor is high quality and easy to install . When cutting on a left leaning slope the carburetor tends to leak fuel and the engine floods making it hard to restart .

This is a great value, a well performing carburetor for my Honda 160 powered lawnmower! perhaps one of the knock-offs would work too, I don't know. But when you can get original equipment replacement for $28.00 I grabbed it. One important suggestion though, be sure to go to You Tube for the installation instructions, mainly to see the sequence for installing the several gaskets. It is VERY important that they are installed in the correct sequence. Don't leave this step out.After I installed my new carburetor, my mower engine started on the VERY FIRST PULL !! Hope you have the same level of success.

My 14yo stainless steel deck lawnmower with Honda 160 OHC engine recently started surging. I removed the carb and took it apart cleaning all the internal passages and jets and it ran a little better, but not perfect.Ordered this carb kit, installed it and now it runs better than new.All of the gaskets, isolator, heat shield, carb, and air cleaner box are a huge PITA to line up and stay in place... Honda should have used studs... but a little high temp RTV helped keep it all aligned.Great value for the cost bc it saves me at least $239 to replace the lawnmower with an inferior steel deck new one...

Fit Like Original and came with all gaskets necessary. This one comes with the choke, many do not.

Easy to install although all gaskets did not match I was able to use one of the old ones. Mower starts first pull every time now and runs without constant surging. I recommend this product.

My Honda powered cub cadet mower is 13 years old and recently developed a carburetor issue in which the jet was clogged or dirty. I tried to clean the carb with no success, I was ready to take mower to dealer to rebuild carb, which would have cost 100-150 dollar and took 2-3 weeks. I found this part and took a chance. Viewed a youtube video on how to remove and install. Carb bolted right up, installed new gaskets and fired up on first pull. Excellent quality and value. Highly recommended to replace old carb with this to alleviate any fuel / carb issues you may have.

Exact replacement I needed. First one came with a piece broken off the choke actuator. I contacted them and they quickly replaced it.

Works great! Genuine parts! Mower starts on the first pull and doesn't flood like crazy anymore! Should have bought this before I tore my old carb apart a half dozen times trying to figure out what the problem was. If one good cleaning (making well and sure you put everything back in correctly) doesn't fix a temperamental/non-functioning carb, even if it seems like every component is in good working order, just buy a new one.Only one minor issue that might be because of the actual age of my engine (stamp indicates it was built in 2005). I got exactly the gaskets that are pictured, with 2 of the gaskets that go on the back of the carb (and one each of the other two). But mine needed 2 of the gaskets that go on the front of the carb (luckily one of my olds ones was still in perfect shape). They've probably tweaked the design a bit over the years, redesigned the filter box to use a gasket like on the back of the carb or whatever; point being, don't go tossing your old gaskets yet if they're at all salvageable. Not to say I couldn't have used the "wrong one", whether modded or not, without issue, but yeah... just sayin'.

I've got a six or seven year old Craftsman push mulching mower with the 5.5 Honda 4-stroke motor (I think it's likely a 160 variant as in this YouTube video:[...]). I never used it much and it failed more than it worked last year indicating a carburetor problem - especially because it worked best on the full choke position. I ran the gas out and I stored it in an enclosed out building for the the winter. I lost my regular mowing service so until a time I address this I will have to be the lawn service. Time to pull out the mower. This time there was no way the mower would work because the original carburator was leaking all over the place like a sieve. I could have attempted to clean to take it apart and clean it out, but I felt it would, likely, still be just a past it's prime clean carburetor at best and, maybe, at worst wouldn't work anyway. Time to get a new one. This kit is great! It's got everything you need and it's ORIGINAL HONDA. I had no problem putting it on either. Just reversed what I did to take off the old one. Squirted two shots of carb cleaner into the opening underneath the air filter and put the filter back on. I opened the gas flow and let it stabilize a couple of minutes. Amazingly it started the first time I pulled the starter with the throttle on fast (i.e. not on choke) and has been working flawlessly since. No other adjustments were made. I did clean my spark plug and recommend doing so. Amazon delivered this just as expected with Prime too. All in all a great success, a new lease on life for my old mower. I'd even say the design of the carburetor is improved since my original and it runs at least as good as ever, probably better.
