Protective Veil
The veil attaches to the bee suit with a heavy-duty zipper to fully enclose and protect your face. The hood is self-supporting, and the mesh front and sides allows full visibility while still providing complete security.
Keep Bees Out
Once the hood is attached and the suit is fully zipped up, the elastic cuffs at the wrists and ankles ensure that no bees will be able to get into your suit when worn properly. Our full body suit only requires additional coverage for your hands and feet.

Just installed my first package of bees in this suit. They were all over the place, but no stings on the suit-- they seemed to be content to sit on it. I felt pretty secure, and the cotton is decently thick.I gave it a 4 on comfort, because while it fit perfectly (even over my large hips and short frame), it's pretty hot and stuffy under the hood.The hood zippers overlap a little for extra security, and there are loops on the sleeves and ankles as well. We'll see how it holds up this season.

First, this suit could be perfect. The zippers are all plastic. That is NOT good. The suit has so much potential. The pockets are large and great and the head gear is good. You don't have to worry about it falling off your head like some of the others. Being able to take off the top to wash it is a great feature. Some of the other suits out there (tops really) you don't have that feature.The first time I used this suit, and took off the top, the zipper broke. I didn't do anything to it, it just broke. Then when I finally washed it last week, I hung it on a hanger to air dry and zipped the body zipper all the way up . When I tried to unzip it to put it on, guess what, the zipper broke. Now I have a suit I cannot even use.The suit would have been great if they used regular metal zippers.

The zipper on the hooded veil came apart 1st use and will not work , i will have to put velcro or something so it can actually be used

I ordered this as a new beekeeper and don't expect to need it every time I inspect, but for the time being, it will be nice for my safety. It is well made and comfortable. I was surprised at the how much I could see through the veil hood, vision is not limited at all. I am very happy with my purchase.One note - I added a safety pin once the hood was zipped/attached at a starting point because it was a bit difficult to do so once the suit was on. This way, it's already attached at one point. Just pull up the hood and zip. Easy, peasy.

I was hesitant to buy this because of reviews on being too small. I bought a large I'm 5'4 170 lbs. I think these are women's sizes. If u are taller than 5'4 I would definitely go with the xl. As far as bee protection it worked great no stings at all. I did use a safety pin in the gap where hood attached cause of other reviews and I'm gonna attach a piece of zelcro myself. This is a well made suit, hood stood up straight, awesome price and it fit great.

This beekeeping suit was purchased for my wife. Things you will like about this suit. Great Price, Super fast shipping, Self supporting hood that's a big plus, Sturdy zippers, Elastic cuffs both arms and legs, Velcro flap to cover the zippers on your chest/neck. The material is thick so you don't get stung but also cool enough not to sweat to death. After we were done opening and servicing our two hives she told me she felt very safe and secure versus her old hand me down suit she was using. I can and will update this as my wife puts some hours in so we can see how well the suit holds up over time. Happy beekeeping to you....BZZZZZ

The suit is fine but the hood is flawed. Im literally writing this with a bee sting on my forehead and one on my nose. Like I said the hood is the weakness. If youve ever had a cheap nylon duffle bag or book bag you know how the nylon tends to rip out at the seems. The black mesh portion of this did exactly that. Problem is I didnt realize the seams had come unattached till I was in the hive. I dont recommend this product.

Made very well thick canvas double stitched seams Velcro fasten elastic legs and cuff that stretch for hands has a loop for attaching a finger to keep a from riding upward a good grip closure. Nice embroidered logo on front "Honey Keeper" Deep pocketsIm bummed that the one I received has a small rip Infront if face area something that's just not acceptable for it's purpose in owning . Requesting a exchange or refund
