This is a nice sturdy shelving unit with easily adjustable shelves. You can adjust them to your exact needs and if those needs change you can easily re-adjust them! The wheels are a great bonus feature especially for our use as a reptile cage and lighting system. The cage backs tubing and electrical connections are easily accessible. Also, you can buy extra parts, shelves, poles etc. We had extra shelves left over and were able to buy poles to make an extra unit.

I managed to score over 35 NSF shelves off FB Marketplace however they were JUST shelves and the clips, NO POLES WHATSOEVER. I initially had plans to build wooden supports and use these as adjustable shelves for a greenhouse but when I found these poles so inexpensively I also bought these poles AND the clear covers and turned two shelving units into mini greenhouses within the Bird Barn and our makeshift "greenhouse". In fact these poles worked out so perfectly with the shelves and the clear covers that I added incubators instead of heat mats (both of which are rated at 40 watts) and added a large tote of water below as both a thermal mass and a source of humidity. So far this setup has worked out very ideally for both hatching poultry eggs AND growing seedlings. What a novel concept!! Will definitely buy again to make additional shelving units!

The poles were exactly what I needed. I already had the hardware and the poles were universal with the racks and hardware. The poles were delivered to my front door so there was no hassle with having to carry them anywhere but into the house. My order arrived on the day it was suppose to which was exciting. I would recommend this site to anyone.

exactly what i expected. i have purchased honey-can-do shelving before and needed an additional set of 72" black poles to build another shelf with the extra shelves i had laying around. works great. poles are not as solid as the seville brand, but i needed them in black and they had them available. the only thing to note is that the poles come assembled in a flimsy box to accommodate all 72 inches of the 2 poles. by the way, the poles can be unscrewed and would have been more manageable if they were shipped as 4-36" poles rather than 2-72" poles. i felt badly for the poor usps worker who had to carry it to my doorstep.

I've redone shelving in the basement, we have shelving for the soda pop, we stock up on and shelving for all the painting utensils, including caulking, paint rollers, and hooks for new brushes to hang on the side. We hit rebates and stock up on all things. Love the choices of sizes and accessories!

I returned mine because they did not fit the Seville Classics shelves I was trying to use them with. This is NOT the fault of Honey-Can-Do! The poles themselves are VERY heavy duty; they're thick, sturdy, heavy, and you could probably wallop someone with one of these poles without it bending. If they had fit my shelves I would have kept them. Measure the holes in your wire shelving to be sure these poles will fit! As it stands though I may get some of this brand shelving in the future, they're the equal of others out there.

Many of these generic NSF shelving units are compatible with these poles. With these, I was able to turn some extra shelves into a whole other shelving unit for less than a second shelf would cost to buy.

I am modifying my review again, after realizing just how inferior these are to the Metro brand posts (which are also more expensive). I have discovered that the metro brand posts have a much better groove, offering much superior holding power for the clips. I used to think it was the quality of the actual clips that was the issue. Then I bought some metal clips, had the same issue with the honey-can-do posts. Then I tried the Metro posts, and the slippage problem went away.I will still use the honey-can-do posts for some stuff. But I am switching to the Metro posts for anything that is not very lightweight, and easy to fix when the clips slip down.I just modified my review, due to one of these posts breaking.I dropped the post, from maybe a height of 4'. The bottom piece, where the foot screws in, fell out. I was able to super glue the piece back in, along with using a hammer as it does connect with decent friction, but the fact it fell out so easily concerns me some.I am wondering if it was welded in place, or if it was only glued in place.Due to this weak point I would not use wheels with these posts. As long as all the pressure is straight down, this weak point should not be a problem.I still prefer these posts to all of the other brands I have tried.I really like that they use a standard thread for the feet, instead of using a non-standard thread, forcing one to buy only their brand of wheels.(I guess that point is more moot, now that I would hesitate to use them with wheels).I have tried several brands of posts, for this style of wire shelving. This is still my favorite brand.I like that they come in white.Standard thread used for feet, instead of custom (such as used by shelving.com and theshelvingstore.com).I have found multiple other brands that use the same standard thread for the feet (Seville, Metro, Regency, although Regency quality of the thread is very low compared to the others).

They are great for organizing, sturdy, neat and clean. One can order in different heights and widths which makes customization a breeze. Makes it easy for one person to do. I use them inside my closets, laundry room, kitchen, everywhere! I believe they are one of the best invention of the century ♥
