If your foot pedal seems to be more active than you are, sliding and skidding along the floor, keep it in place with this non-slip skid holder. It made using a flexible, translucent vinyl. Please note that the Non-Slip, Foot Control Pad does not come with a foot control.
To ensure that the foot pedal mat doesn't move, use the included velcro patches on the back of your foot control. This mat works with all sewing machine and serger foot pedals.
One the back of the mat are raised, bumps that "grip" your carpet. These grips help to prevent your Pedal-Stay from sliding around.

Well, the product seems to be well-made, it is made to be stable on carpet. Slips around on the hardwood floor.To be fair, the product looks as if it would be very good, however not in my situation

The back of this sewing pedal pad has nubs to grip rugs. I have a small, short nap rug under my sewing machine. So this pedal pad grips nicely. My sewing pedal stays on this pad so I’m not chasing it all the time.

I returned mine. First it came warped and there was no way to right that. Also, it has the pointy knubs in the bottom which would be great if you have carpet but for use on hardwoid fllors it will scratch it and use on vinyl planking it will still slide around under sewing table. I was disappointed but it may work great for another buyer. Def well made and sturdy. Right idea for the use just not thought out.

If u have a carpeted floor, this is great! But if u have to move to the dining room table to quilt a large quilt then you need a grip pad underneath or it will slide. It is really durable and nice otherwise!

So happy I got this! Imagine, just sit down and find your foot pedal right where you left it. No scooching away either.Works great on my wood floor and I didn’t need the Velcro, I think because I rest my foot on my chair base (see picture), so I’m applying more pressure down than forward. Easy on the ankle too.
