The original ear pieces were nice but these make using the ear mufflers better and usable for over 6 hours. Easy to install and easy on the ears.

Far superior to the thin, hard original pads. The original pads would give me a headache. These gel pads are awesome, made a huge difference!

I have owned and used a set of Impact Pro earmuffs for years. I shoot 1 to 2 times every week. I like my muffs, my only complaint was the ear pads were a bit stiff and made me sweat on them, making them uncomfortable. I live in Alabama, so it is most often warm.I bought these replacements and used them yesterday for the first time. What a difference! The gel is soft, they don’t get hot, and the texture of the pad is very soft and pliable.Worth every cent I paid.

Feels comfortable and seals out noise well. I'm a range officer at my gun club and wear my hearing protection all day when at the range. These are nice and comfortable. I suggest you get some Elmer's rubber cement to replace these as they don't come with any adhesive.

A couple years back I bought a pair of Howard Leight Impact Sport ear muffs, and honestly, I've never liked them. The pads that came with them were awful. They were uncomfortable, cheap, and didn't seal well. Until recently they were relegated to backup loaners for friends. These pads turned my Impact Sport muffs from junk to serviceable. They installed easily as an exact fit, are dramatically more comfortable, and most importantly they provide a proper seal for my hearing protection.I have a pair of 3M Peltors with aftermarket Noisefighters earpads, and while I like the muffs a lot more, these Earrock earpads are just about on par with the Noisefighters pads which cost twice as much. If the Noisefighters every crap out, I'll replace them with these with no concerns.

It seems the gel and the flexible skin make these the most comfortable "ear pads" that I've ever worn. I'm not sure if the original Howard Leight pads that these replaced were providing better or similar sound block - I can't compare because the original pads became quite stiff over the past couple of years (due to constant use, my face oils and sweat degraded the pad material, so they did not seal well anymore). These new pads seal very well against my face, even when I wear thin metal glass frames under them. With the old pads, I always had to take my glasses off, put the muffs on, then put my glasses back on BUT slide the glasses (the "ear hangers") on top of the pads... You know that was annoying because when I looked straight down, sometimes my glasses would slide off!So these are great and I'm glad I finally replaced the old pads! One more thing: the old pads used a quick-release adhesive to ensure the pads did not come out. I wondered where the adhesive was when I opened up this package, but I can see that the 8 clips in each ear cup are quite capable of holding the new ear pads ("seals") in place.

This order should have came last week. But instead of 2-day delivery, I got notices that it was on it's way and then it stalled (or was lost) a few miles away.Since it seemed to missing, (a day late) and a delivery date was unsure.I decided to cancel this order and re-order.Which I did and it came on time!Very pleased with the Gel Ear Seals. Easy to install and are Very comfortable.I highly recommend these, if your old foam OEM ear seals are going flat.I'm getting a much better seal, and there is a noticeable reduction in loud sharp sounds. Slapping two boards together makes a very loud, sharp slapping sound. With the headset on, it's reduced to a very weak, dull thud sound.Seems like the higher frequency of the instantaneous sound impulse isn't heard as much, only the weaker low frequency. It's muffled.I can't wait to try these out on the indoor pistol range!
