Looks like it was born in the 70s but works great. It has lasted longer than the White Rodgers ones on my Amana furnace.

Part was exactly what I needed. I even hooked it up myself by matching what was connected to it. Do not pay 600$ for part and install from a heating company!

Took care of my intermittent ignition issue with my AO Smith water heater. Based on some YouTube videos it was recommended to use this product to replace the flaky Robert White HS780 ignition controller. Came with great instructions on how to move the wiring over and I had it installed and up in about 30 minutes. "knock on wood" I have not had ignitions problems since installing this new controller.

It works, but there is no fan control on the board, so it took an extra two hours to completely rewire the furnace using a DPDT relay and two solid state timers, one on delay, one off delay, and adjusting the delay times on the timers. Once I did all that, it worked beautifully.

Just worked as advertised. Saved me some money. I used it to replace a white-rogers.

Stick with Honeywell and you can't go wrong. I had to do some re-wiring, which I expected, since I was changing over to a different manufacturer from the original ignition control module, but it was very easy. The wiring diagram was simple to understand and the unit installed easily, and performed flawlessly. It has been trouble free all winter.

Was a perfect replacement for my aging furnace. It turns out that it wasn't actually the root cause of my furnace issues, but by replacing it I was able to rule it out and narrow down the actual cause. In the end it was still cheaper for me than a service call. The spec sheet and instrucitons made it easy to make it a drop in replacement.

I purchased the Honeywell Universal Replacement HSI Module to repair my old 1986 Coleman T.H.E. 90+. The original module (not Honeywell) began acting up (naturally while it was -20F outside) and I was hoping to find an alternative that would reduce the expense of repair, offer additional features, and be easy enough to install. JACKPOT! The S8910u 1000 was HALF the price of the like-replacement module (the competition is VERY proud of their logo I guess), has a diagnostic LED, and the instructions were VERY easy to follow. The package includes a comprehensive manual with detailed instruction on operation and conversion from other competitors modules. Additional spade terminal adapters were also included, as were labels for all of the wires. Awesome product!!
