The design looks like what I received so I have no complaints for that. The clip part holds the notepad and it's tight. The top of the notepad was inside and and top sheet of paper was crumpled and had to tear off and toss, but the rest were fine. The pockets are thin paper, glued down, if you are not careful will definately tear easy. The over all cardboard is very light and not durable like some other name brands. Beacuse of that I would say 3 stars tops. Cute, but wouldn't think it's going to last very long.

Finally I've found a mini-clipboard & folder for my ½-letter sized ‘float plan’/logbook while boating. I needed something half the size of a full folder-clipboard, but the few I've found are all pretty feminine--I'm sure appropriately catering to the mostly female nursing market. There’s no shortage of full size clipboard-folders, but I needed something smaller. This one is made of what appears to be high-grade cardboard, has a clipboard on the front (useful for holding my 'float plan' and ticking off navigational checkpoints), a pen holder loop. a receipt folder on the inside left (great for keeping my departure checklist), and a notepad on the inside right. The whole thing is of a convenient smaller size that can be kept beside me while underway.

I use this for my grocery list and to hold my receipts if I have other stores to go to. Very sturdy and I love that it has a place to put your pencil or pen. I wish it was a 4x6 or 5x7 instead of a 6x9 so it would fit in my purse better other than that, I love it.

I used this for my clinical rotation for nursing school. It fits my pocket and I love that I get to do homework whenever I have time and then just shove it in my pocket when I need to go back to the floor. Quality is good, the notepad inside is great because the paper is pretty thick imo. I have wiped the outside part of the clipboard with the purple wipes and the design is still intact. I print my own A5 notes/homework templates and it all fits inside. I love this thing, and I think I will continue using this when I pass the boards and officially work as a nurse.

Being left-handed, I love clipboards! I have a reclining couch that I often use as my "office" with my laptop, cup of coffee at hand, and a cozy blanket. But I needed something to make quick notes on or keep track of receipts while I did my checking account entries and a regular clipboard is too big and bulky to put on the armrest. This one is almost perfect. The clip on the front allows me to hold scraps of paper in place while I work, the lined pad of paper inside means I always have something to write on (and there's even a pen holder!), and the pocket on the inside is great for keeping a few things close until I can get them officially filed. I bought two of these and keep one in the car. The cover art is beautiful. My only wish is that I could fold it back on itself, like my Kindle cover. But all the other positive elements make up for that.

It's a cute notepad with a pen holder. It has a great slick design. Great for those morning meetings or radon note writing.
